Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.

He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed My sheep.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,“ I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world beganbut now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith—

Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:

Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.

It is a difficult thing that the king requests, and there is no other who can tell it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”

And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

Then Joseph said to Pharaoh,“ The dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do:The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads are seven years; the dreams are one.And the seven thin and ugly cows which came up after them are seven years, and the seven empty heads blighted by the east wind are seven years of famine.This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.

Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know? And former times, that we may say,‘ He is righteous’? Surely there is no one who shows, Surely there is no one who declares, Surely there is no one who hears your words.

Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.So he said to them,“ Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”And his brothers said to him,“ Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said,“ Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

“ Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; Let them show the former things, what they were, That we may consider them, And know the latter end of them; Or declare to us things to come.

That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
