如今我尼布甲尼撒称赞、高举、尊崇天上的王，因为他一切的作为都是确实的，一切的道路都是公正的，他能使行事骄傲的人降卑。

今我尼布甲尼撒、頌美稱揚尊崇天上之王、其所行者、悉為真實、其道公義、惟驕泰而行者、則降而卑之、

故我尼布甲尼撒、頌美稱譽天王、其所為者惟秉大公、真實無妄、惟驕其志者、上帝使之卑微。

故我尼布甲尼撒讚美稱謝頌揚天上之大主宰、其所為者最誠實、其道至公義、惟行動驕傲者、天主使之卑微、

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, give praise and honor and glory to the King of heaven. Everything he does is right. All his ways are fair. He is able to bring down those who live proudly.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

“ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of the heavens, because all his works are true and his ways are just. He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.”

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (niv)

Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly.” (niv)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (niv)

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. (niv)

Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at all who are proud and bring them low,look at all who are proud and humble them, crush the wicked where they stand. (niv)

“ Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. (niv)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (niv)

Then, when I make atonement for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed and never again open your mouth because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” (niv)

and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:“ Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. (niv)

But the Lord Almighty will be exalted by his justice, and the holy God will be proved holy by his righteous acts. (niv)

But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.“ But you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this.Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways.Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription. (niv)

“ The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. (niv)

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (niv)

The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (niv)

The King is mighty, he loves justice— you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right. (niv)

At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation. (niv)

I know, Lord, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me. (niv)

As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone. (niv)

You would not even mention your sister Sodom in the day of your pride, (niv)

After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.” (niv)

he said,“ Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven,“ This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. (niv)

And I heard the altar respond:“ Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments.” (niv)

So the Lord brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors. (niv)

How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation. (niv)

His prayer and how God was moved by his entreaty, as well as all his sins and unfaithfulness, and the sites where he built high places and set up Asherah poles and idols before he humbled himself— all these are written in the records of the seers. (niv)
