“ While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully.

“ I thought about the horns. Then I saw another horn. It was a little one. It grew up among the other horns. Three of the first horns were pulled up by their roots to make room for it. The little horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being. Its mouth was always bragging.

I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.

As I was looking at the horns, suddenly another small horn appeared among them. Three of the first horns were torn out by the roots to make room for it. This little horn had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that was boasting arrogantly.

“ While I was considering the horns, suddenly another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. And suddenly in this horn there were eyes like the eyes of a human and a mouth that was speaking arrogantly.

龙又给了那兽一张说夸大和亵渎话的嘴巴，也给了它权柄可以任意而行四十二个月。兽就开口向神说亵渎的话，亵渎他的名和他的帐幕，以及那些住在天上的。

从这四个角中的一个角，又长出一个小角来，这小角向南、向东和向荣美之地，不断强大起来。它渐渐长大，高及天象，把一些天象和星星摔落在地上，用脚践踏。它狂妄自大，要高及天象之君；它除掉献给天象之君的常献祭，又拆毁他的圣所。因罪过的缘故，圣民（“圣民”和8:10~11的“天象”原文是同一个字）连同常献的祭都交给它；它把真理丢在地上，任意而行，凡事顺利。

蝗虫的形象，好像是预备好了要上阵的战马一样。它们头上戴的好像金冠冕，脸像人的面孔，

愿耶和华剪除一切说谄媚话的嘴唇，和说夸大话的舌头。

我又看见一只兽从海里上来，有十角七头，十角上戴着十个皇冠，七头上有亵渎的名号。

“那王必任意而行，自高自大，超过所有的神，又说一些怪诞的话攻击万神之神。他必行事顺利，直到神的忿怒完毕；因为所定的事必会实现。

我又看见另一只兽从地里上来。它有两个角，好像羊羔，说话好像龙。它在头一只兽面前，行使头一只兽的一切权柄。它使全地和住在地上的人，都拜那受过致命伤而医好了的头一只兽。它又行大奇事，甚至在人面前叫火从天上降在地上。

因为他们说虚妄夸大的话，用肉体的私欲和邪荡的事，引诱那些刚刚逃脱了错谬生活的人。

我又想知道有关它头上的十角，和那另长出来的小角，以及那三个在这小角前面倒下的角的实情。这小角有眼，有说夸大话的嘴；它的形状比它的同类更威猛。我继续观看，看见这小角和圣民争战，战胜了他们，直到万古常存者来到，为至高者的圣民伸张正义；圣民拥有国度的时候就到了。“那位侍立者这样说：‘那第四只兽就是世上必有的第四国，和其他各国都不相同；它必吞吃全地，践踏咬碎全地。至于那十角，就是从这国中将要兴起的十个王，在他们以后，必有另一个王兴起，和先前的王都不相同；他必制伏三个王。他必说话，敌挡至高者；他必折磨至高者的圣民，又想改变节期和律法；圣民必交在他的手中，一载、二载、半载（“一载、二载、半载”或译：“一个时期、多个时期、半个时期”）。

他抵挡神，抬举自己，高过一切称为神或受人敬拜的，甚至坐在神的殿中，自称为神。

这些人常发牢骚，怨天尤人，顺着自己的私欲行事，口说夸张的话，为了利益就不惜阿谀奉承。

“在这四国的后期，犯罪的人恶贯满盈的时候，必有一个面貌凶恶的王兴起，他诡计多端。他的权势强大，却不是出于自己的能力；他必造成惊人的毁灭；他任意而行，凡事顺利；他必毁灭有强力的，又毁灭圣民。他运用诡计，行骗无往而不利；他心里狂妄自大；他必乘人不备的时候，毁灭许多人；他要起来攻击万君之君，最后却非因人的手被毁灭。

你们不要多说骄傲的话，也不要口出狂妄之言，因为耶和华是全知的神，人的一切行为他都鉴察。

那时，人会专爱自己、贪爱钱财、自夸、高傲、亵渎、悖逆父母、忘恩负义、不圣洁、
