“你们却不肯上去，竟违背了耶和华你们神的命令，

“但你们不肯上去，竟违背了耶和华你们的神的吩咐；

「你們卻不肯上去，竟違背了耶和華－你們神的命令，

「你們卻不肯上去，竟違背了耶和華－你們上帝的指示，

「你們卻不肯上去，竟違背了耶和華－你們神的指示，

「但你們卻違背你們上帝耶和華的命令，不肯上去。

“但你們不肯上去，竟違背了耶和華你們的神的吩咐；

『你們卻不情願上去，竟違背了永恆主你們的上帝所吩咐的；

乃爾不願前往、逆爾上帝耶和華之命、

乃爾曹違逆上帝耶和華命、不欲前往、

乃爾曹不欲前往、違逆主爾天主之命、

But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God.

But you wouldn’t go up. You refused to obey the command of the Lord your God.

“ Yet you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the Lord your God.

“ But you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God and refused to go in.

“ But you were not willing to go up. You rebelled against the command of the LORD your God.

“ Yet you were unwilling to go up; instead you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God;

“ Nevertheless you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the Lord your God;

Yet ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah your God:

“ But you were not willing to go up, rebelling against the command of the Lord your God.

Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:

You were not willing to go up, however, but instead rebelled against the LORD your God.

Yet you wouldn’t go up, but rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh your God.

That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud.All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them,“ If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness!Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?”And they said to each other,“ We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.” (niv)

“ You stiff- necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! (niv)

Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and he himself fought against them. (niv)

Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise.They grumbled in their tents and did not obey the Lord. (niv)
