而你們將要佔領的那片土地卻有山有谷，雨水充足，

但你們所要過去取得為業的地乃是有山有谷之地、它吸收水的灌溉是按着天上之雨水而定的。

惟爾所往而得之地不然、乃有陵谷、自受天雨、

爾所往欲得之地、乃有山崗平原、得天雨浸灌之地、

But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.

But you will soon go across the Jordan River. The land you are going to take over has mountains and valleys in it. It drinks rain from heaven.

But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven,

Rather, the land you will soon take over is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain—

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.

But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,

but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,

but the land, whither ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven,

But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.

Instead, the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy is one of hills and valleys, a land that drinks in water from the rains,

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land— a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey;a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. (niv)

The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing. (niv)

May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness— an abundance of grain and new wine. (niv)

Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley— to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine! (niv)
