你们要将所赶出的国民侍奉神的各地方，无论是在高山，在小山，在各青翠树下，都毁坏了；

爾所驅之民、服事其上帝、無論高山之巔、茂林之下、爾必廢其處、

爾將驅逐列國之人、凡彼等事其神之處、無論高山上、崗上、諸茂樹下、俱當毀壞、

Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains, on the hills and under every spreading tree, where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods.

You will soon drive the nations out of it. Completely destroy all the places where they worship their gods. Destroy them on the high mountains, on the hills and under every green tree.

并在邱坛上、山冈上、各青翠树下献祭烧香。

你们却要这样待他们：拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，砍下他们的木偶，用火焚烧他们雕刻的偶像。

他们雕刻的神像，你们要用火焚烧；其上的金银，你不可贪图，也不可收取，免得你因此陷入网罗；这原是耶和华你神所憎恶的。可憎的物，你不可带进家去；不然，你就成了当毁灭的，与那物一样。你要十分厌恶，十分憎嫌，因为这是当毁灭的物。”

约西亚王在位的时候，耶和华又对我说：“背道的以色列所行的，你看见没有？她上各高山，在各青翠树下行淫。

在各高冈上、各青翠树下立柱像和木偶；在邱坛上烧香，效法耶和华在他们面前赶出的外邦人所行的，又行恶事惹动耶和华的怒气；

你要谨慎，不可与你所去那地的居民立约，恐怕成为你们中间的网罗；却要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，砍下他们的木偶。不可敬拜别神；因为耶和华是忌邪的神，名为忌邪者。只怕你与那地的居民立约，百姓随从他们的神，就行邪淫，祭祀他们的神，有人叫你，你便吃他的祭物，又为你的儿子娶他们的女儿为妻，他们的女儿随从她们的神，就行邪淫，使你的儿子也随从她们的神行邪淫。“不可为自己铸造神像。

“你吩咐以色列人说：你们过约旦河进迦南地的时候，就要从你们面前赶出那里所有的居民，毁灭他们一切錾成的石像和他们一切铸成的偶像，又拆毁他们一切的邱坛。

因为我领他们到了我起誓应许赐给他们的地，他们看见各高山、各茂密树，就在那里献祭，奉上惹我发怒的供物，也在那里焚烧馨香的祭牲，并浇上奠祭。我就对他们说：你们所上的那高处叫什么呢？那高处的名字叫巴麻直到今日。

从前以色列王所罗门在耶路撒冷前、邪僻山右边为西顿人可憎的神亚斯他录、摩押人可憎的神基抹、亚扪人可憎的神米勒公所筑的邱坛，王都污秽了，

在各山顶，各高冈的橡树、杨树、栗树之下，献祭烧香，因为树影美好。“所以，你们的女儿淫乱，你们的新妇行淫。

你不可跪拜他们的神，不可侍奉他，也不可效法他们的行为，却要把神像尽行拆毁，打碎他们的柱像。

到了早晨，巴勒领巴兰到巴力的高处；巴兰从那里观看以色列营的边界。

你们也不可与这地的居民立约，要拆毁他们的祭坛。你们竟没有听从我的话！为何这样行呢？’
