Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

慷慨的人必蒙福，因他給窮人食物。

「如果你們在田間收割莊稼時忘了一捆，不可回去取，要留給孤兒寡婦和寄居者。這樣，你們的上帝耶和華必使你們凡事蒙福。

讓你們城中沒有土地的利未人、寄居者和孤兒寡婦都可以來吃飽。這樣，你們的上帝耶和華必使你們凡事蒙福。

高尚的人計劃高尚的事，在高尚的事上持之以恆。

有人樂善好施，反倒越來越富；有人一毛不拔，反而越來越窮。慷慨好施的必得昌盛，恩待他人的必蒙恩待。

我現在樣樣都有，豐富有餘。我從以巴弗提手上收到了你們送給我的禮物，已經充足了。這些饋贈是蒙上帝悅納的馨香祭物。我的上帝必按照祂在基督耶穌裡的榮耀，豐豐富富地賜給你們所需用的一切。

如果你們給饑餓的人食物，扶助困苦的人，你們的光必照亮黑暗，你們的黑夜必變成正午。

你要勸他們多多行善、慷慨施捨、樂意助人。這樣，他們可以為自己的將來奠定美好的基礎，以便持守真正的生命。

只要你們聽從你們上帝耶和華的話，謹遵我今天吩咐你們的誡命，祂必使你們在這片祂賜給你們作產業的土地上蒙福，你們中間不會有窮人。

我凡事以身作則，教導你們勤奮工作，幫助軟弱的人，並牢記主耶穌的話，『施比受更有福。』」

能講道的，要按著上帝的話去講；能服侍人的，要本著上帝所賜的力量去服侍。這樣，上帝會藉著耶穌基督在一切的事上得到榮耀。願榮耀和權能都歸於祂，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

善待窮人的有福了！耶和華必救他們脫離困境。耶和華必保護他們，救他們的性命，使他們在地上享福，不讓仇敵惡謀得逞。

「王會回答說，『我實在告訴你們，你們幫助我最卑微的一個弟兄，就是幫助我了。』

勸勉的，要誠心勸勉；施捨的，要慷慨施捨；治理的，要殷勤治理；憐憫的，要甘心憐憫。

因此，我認為有必要請那幾位弟兄先去你們那裡，將你們從前認捐的款項收集妥當，這樣就表明你們的捐贈是出於甘心樂意，而不是出於勉強。要記住：「少種的少收，多種的多收。」各人心裡想捐多少就捐多少，不要勉強，不要為難。因為捐得甘心樂意的人才是上帝所喜愛的。上帝能夠將各樣的恩典多多賜給你們，使你們在各方面常常富足有餘，可以多行各樣的善事。正如聖經上說：「他慷慨施捨、賙濟窮人，他的仁義永遠長存。」賜農夫種子又賜人糧食的上帝，必加倍賜給你們種子，使你們收穫更多仁義的果子，叫你們事事豐裕，可以多多施捨。這樣，從我們這裡得到你們幫助的人便會向上帝獻上感恩。
