因為耶和華－你的神會照他所應許你的賜福給你，你必借給許多國家，卻不需要去借貸；你要管轄許多國家，它們卻不能管轄你。

則主爾之天主、循其所許爾之言賜福於爾、爾將貸金於諸國之民、惟爾不致貸人之金、爾將轄制諸國、彼不得轄制爾、○

所羅門統治諸國，從大河到非利士地，直到埃及的邊界。所羅門在世的日子，這些國都向他進貢，服事他。

惡人借貸卻不償還；義人恩待人，並且施捨。

有錢人管轄窮乏人，欠債的是債主的僕人。

所以你將他們交在敵人的手中，敵人就折磨他們。他們遭難的時候哀求你，你就從天上垂聽，照你豐富的憐憫賜給他們拯救者，救他們脫離敵人的手。

你們倒要愛仇敵，要善待他們，並要借給人不指望償還，你們的賞賜就很多了，你們必作至高者的兒子，因為他恩待那忘恩的和作惡的。

所羅門管理整個大河西邊，從提弗薩直到迦薩，以及大河西邊的諸王，屬他的四境盡都平安。

他常常恩待人，借貸給人，他的後裔也必蒙福。

也曾有強大的君王治理耶路撒冷，統管河西全地，人就給他們進貢、納糧、繳稅。

他必借給你，你卻不能借給他；他必作首，你必作尾。

施恩與人、借貸與人、秉公處事的人必享美福，
