Be joyful at your festival— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.

Be filled with joy at your feast. You, your children, and your male and female servants should be joyful. So should the Levites, the outsiders, and the widows living in your towns. And so should the children whose fathers have died.

You shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns.

This festival will be a happy time of celebrating with your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows from your towns.

Rejoice during your festival— you, your son and daughter, your male and female slave, as well as the Levite, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates.

and you shall rejoice in your feast, you, your son and your daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow who are in your towns.

全体民众听到律法书上的话都哭了。尼希米省长、律法教师以斯拉祭司和教导民众的利未人对他们说：“今天是你们上帝耶和华的圣日，不要悲哀、哭泣。”尼希米又说：“你们去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，并分些给一无所有的人，因为今天是我们主的圣日。不要悲伤，因为从耶和华而来的喜乐就是你们的力量。”利未人使全体民众安静，说：“请安静，因为今天是圣日。不要悲伤。”于是，全体民众去吃喝，并分给他人，非常欢喜，因为他们明白了教导给他们的话。

你们要和儿女、仆婢、同城的利未人、寄居者及孤儿寡妇在你们的上帝耶和华选定的敬拜场所，在祂面前一起欢喜快乐。

到那日，你们必歌唱：“耶和华啊，我要赞美你！你虽然曾向我发怒，但你的怒气已经止息，你还安慰了我。“看啊，上帝是我的拯救，我要倚靠祂，不会惧怕。耶和华上帝是我的力量，是我的诗歌，祂成了我的拯救者。”你们必从救恩的泉源欢然取水。到那日，你们必歌唱：“要称颂耶和华，求告祂的名；要在万民中传扬祂的作为，宣告祂的名配受尊崇。“耶和华成就了奇妙的事，要向祂歌唱，让歌声传遍世界。锡安的居民啊，高声欢呼吧！因为住在你们当中的以色列的圣者无比伟大。”

要常常喜乐，

耶和华救赎的子民必欢唱着回到锡安，洋溢着永远的快乐。他们必欢喜快乐，忧愁和叹息都消失无踪。

在那里，你们和儿女、仆婢及同城中没有分到土地作产业的利未人，要一起在你们的上帝耶和华面前欢喜快乐。

在锡安山上，万军之耶和华必为天下万民摆设丰盛的宴席，有陈年佳酿和精选的美食。在这山上，祂必除去遮蔽万民的面纱和笼罩万国的幔子。祂必永远吞灭死亡。主耶和华必擦去各人脸上的眼泪，从世上除掉祂子民的羞辱。这是耶和华说的。

你们和利未人以及住在你们中间的外族人，都要因你们的上帝耶和华赐给你们和你们家人的美物而欢喜快乐。

但你们必欢唱，好像晚上庆祝节期；你们必充满喜乐，好像人们吹着笛子登耶和华的山、到以色列磐石那里。

去欢欢喜喜、快快乐乐地吃喝吧！因为上帝已经悦纳你所做的。
