Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent.

Do what is right. Treat everyone the same. Don’t take money from people who want special favors. It makes those who are wise close their eyes to the truth. It twists the words of those who have done nothing wrong.

You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

“你不可向寄居的和孤兒屈枉正直，也不可拿寡婦的衣服作抵押。

惡人暗中（“暗中”原文作“從懷裡”）接受賄賂，為要歪曲公正。

“‘對寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’

以下也是智慧人的話：審判的時候看人的情面是不對的。

彼得就開口說：“我實在看出神是不偏待人的。

他們雙手善於作惡，官長和審判官都要求報酬；達官貴人說出心裡的慾望；他們歪曲了一切。

學習行善，尋求公平，指責殘暴的人，替孤兒伸冤，為寡婦辨屈。”

不可在窮人訴訟的事上歪曲正義。要遠離虛假的事；不可殺無辜和正義的人，因為我決不以惡人為義人。不可受賄賂，因為賄賂能使明眼人變瞎，又能歪曲義人的話。

因此律法不能生效（“律法不能生效”原文作“律法鬆懈”），公理無法彰顯。因為惡人把義人包圍，所以公理顛倒。

保羅對他們說：“我們是羅馬人，還沒有定罪，他們就公開打我們，又放在監裡；現在要私下趕我們出去嗎？不行！他們應當親自來，領我們出去！”

保羅對他說：“你這粉飾的牆啊，神要擊打你！你坐堂要按著律法審問我，現在你竟然違背律法吩咐人打我嗎？”

我若在城門見有支持我的，就揮手攻擊孤兒，就願我的肩頭從肩胛脫落，願我的前臂從上臂折斷；

那行事公義，說話正直，拒絕不義的財利，搖手不受賄賂，塞耳不聽血腥的事，閉眼不看邪惡的事的，

看哪，我在這裡！你們只管在耶和華面前，以及在他的受膏者面前，作證指控我：我奪過誰的牛？搶過誰的驢？欺負過誰？虐待過誰？從誰手裡受過賄賂，以致我的眼睛因此被蒙住呢？如果有，我必償還給你們。”

兩個兒子都沒有行撒母耳的道路，反而轉去追求不義之財，收受賄賂，屈枉正直。

在你裡面有接受賄賂而流人血的；你借錢給人，收取利息，並且多要；你用欺壓手段向你的鄰舍榨取不義之財；你更忘記了我。這是主耶和華的宣告。

不可無故作證指控你的鄰舍；不可誣告他人。

“那時，我吩咐你們的審判官，說：‘你們在兄弟中聽訟，無論是兄弟彼此訴訟，或是與同居的外地人訴訟，都要按著公義審判。審判的時候，不可偏袒人；無論貴賤尊卑，都要一樣地聽訟；不可怕人的情面，因為審判是屬於神的；如果你們遇見難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裡來，讓我審斷。’

你的官長存心悖逆，與盜賊同夥；人都貪愛賄賂，追索私酬；他們不替孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

他們肥胖光潤，作盡各種壞事；他們不為人辯護，不替孤兒辨屈，使他們獲益，也不為窮人伸冤。

城中的領袖都是咆哮的獅子，城中的審判官是夜間的豺狼，甚麼都不留到早晨。城中的先知都是輕浮詭詐的人；城中的祭司褻瀆聖物，違犯律法。耶和華在城中是公義的，決不行不義的事；他每日早晨都顯明公正，永不止息。不公義的人卻不知廉恥。
