耶穌對他們說：「我一直盼望在受難之前和你們同吃這個逾越節的宴席。

要在你們的上帝耶和華選定的地方，與兒女、僕婢及同城的利未人一起在耶和華面前吃。要為你們所做的一切，在你們的上帝耶和華面前歡喜快樂。

除酵節的第一天，門徒來問耶穌說：「我們該在什麼地方為你準備逾越節的晚餐呢？」

你們要把舊酵除掉，好成為真正無酵的新麵團，因為我們逾越節的羔羊——基督已經被獻為祭了。

羊羔必須是毫無殘疾、一歲的公綿羊或公山羊。全體會眾要把羊留到本月十四日，在黃昏時分宰殺，然後取點血塗在房子的門框和門楣上，全家要在房子裡吃羊肉。

你們要把我吩咐你們獻的燔祭、各種牲祭、十一奉獻、舉祭和一切還願祭帶到你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所。

除酵節的第一天，就是宰殺逾越節羔羊的那天，門徒問耶穌：「我們該到什麼地方為你準備逾越節的晚餐呢？」

耶和華會在你們的一個支派中選定敬拜的場所，你們只可以在那裡獻燔祭，做我吩咐你們的一切事。

「你們知道，兩天後就是逾越節，到時人子會被出賣，被釘在十字架上。」

約西亞從自己的產業中，捐出三萬隻綿羊羔和山羊羔，以及三千頭公牛，賜給所有在場的人做逾越節的祭牲。

「一月十四日是耶和華的逾越節，十五日開始節慶，你們要連續七天吃無酵餅。第一天要舉行聖會，不可做日常工作。你們要把毫無殘疾的兩頭公牛犢、一隻公綿羊和七隻一歲的公羊羔獻給耶和華作燔祭；

耶穌差派彼得和約翰出去，說：「你們為我們準備逾越節吃的晚餐。」
