Give the people these orders:‘ You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful.

Here are the orders I want you to give the people. Tell them,‘ You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives. They are from the family line of Esau. They live in Seir. They will be afraid of you. But be very careful.

and command the people,“ You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers, the people of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. So be very careful.

Give these orders to the people:“ You will pass through the country belonging to your relatives the Edomites, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. The Edomites will feel threatened, so be careful.

Command the people: You are about to travel through the territory of your brothers, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, so be very careful.

and command the people, saying,“ You are going to pass through the territory of your brothers the sons of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. So be very careful;

And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the border of your brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore;

Command the people: You are about to travel through the territory of your brothers, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, so you must be very careful.

And command thou the people, saying, Ye[ are] to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

Instruct these people as follows:‘ You are about to cross the border of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who inhabit Seir. They will be afraid of you, so watch yourselves carefully.

Command the people, saying,‘ You are to pass through the border of your brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore be careful.

摩西自加低斯遣使詣以東王曰、爾之兄弟以色列人云、我儕遭遇多艱、爾所知也、我祖往埃及、居彼日久、埃及人虐待我祖、爰及我儕、我呼籲耶和華、蒙其垂聽、遣使導我出埃及、今在加低斯、爾國之疆隅也、請容我過爾地、我不越田畝、不入葡萄園、不飲井水、行由大道、不偏於左、不偏於右、以過爾境、以東人對曰、勿過我境、免我執刃、出而攻爾、以色列族曰、我行由大道、如我與牲畜飲爾之水、必償厥值、不圖其他、第欲徒行、以過爾境、曰爾毋過焉、以東王率其羣眾、大力以禦之、如是以東不許以色列族過其境、以色列族遂轉離之、○

以東侯伯悚惶、摩押英豪震慴、迦南居民銷鑠、

勿憾以東人、以其為爾同族、勿憾埃及人、以爾曾旅其地、

俾爾純粹無疵為上帝子、無瑕於邪逆之世、顯為燭世之光、

摩押人又緣斯民眾多、恐懼憂戚、告米甸長老曰、此眾將吞我四方、如牛嚙田野之草、時、西撥子巴勒為摩押王、

如是、爾之光亦當照乎人前、俾人見爾善行、榮爾在天之父焉、○

遂語眾曰、慎戒貪婪、蓋人之生、不在所蓄之豐裕也、

以爾行暴於爾昆弟雅各、必蒙羞恥、永世見絕、昔日外人掠其貨財、異族入其邑門、為耶路撒冷掣籤、爾立於旁、若敵中之一焉、爾昆弟遘災之日、爾不可旁觀、猶大人見滅之日、爾不可欣喜、於其遭難之日、爾不可狂言、我民遇禍之日、爾不可入其邑門、受罰之日、爾不可旁觀其苦、罹害之日、爾不可攘取其財、

今我將歸、爾其來前、此民至於季世、所以待爾民者、我將告汝、乃作歌曰、比珥子巴蘭云、明目者有詞、聞上帝之言、知至上者之智慧、睹全能者之異象、身臥而目明者曰、我見之不於今日、我觀之非在近時、有一星焉、自雅各家而出、有一杖焉、自以色列而興、擊破摩押之隅、殲滅鼓譟之士、以東必為所獲、其敵西珥必為其業、以色列族毅然而行、

爾於外人、當以智而行、光陰是惜、

慎顧爾行、勿若無智、乃若有智、
