臨陳時、祭司當至民前、

臨陳之時、祭司必至民前、

爾臨戰時、祭司當至民前宣告曰、

When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army.

Just before you go into battle, the priest will come forward. He’ll speak to the army.

And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people

When you prepare for battle, the priest must come forward to speak to the troops.

When you are about to engage in battle, the priest is to come forward and address the army.

When you are approaching the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people.

So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people.

And it shall be, when ye draw nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

When you are about to engage in battle, the priest is to come forward and address the army.

And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

As you move forward for battle, the priest will approach and say to the soldiers,

It shall be, when you draw near to the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people,

Moses sent them into battle, a thousand from each tribe, along with Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, who took with him articles from the sanctuary and the trumpets for signaling. (niv)

“ The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to blow the trumpets. This is to be a lasting ordinance for you and the generations to come.When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies. (niv)

God is with us; he is our leader. His priests with their trumpets will sound the battle cry against you. People of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed.” (niv)

They asked,“ Shall we go up again to fight against the Benjamites, our fellow Israelites, or not?” The Lord responded,“ Go, for tomorrow I will give them into your hands.” (niv)

Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God.”( At that time it was with the Israelites.) (niv)
