If a man is caught having sexual relations with a married woman both the man who had relations with the woman and the woman herself must die; in this way you will purge evil from Israel.

“若遇见人与有丈夫的妇人行淫，就要将奸夫淫妇一并治死。这样，就把那恶从以色列中除掉。

“若发现有人与有夫之妇同寝，就要将奸夫淫妇一起处死。这样，你就把恶从以色列中除掉。

“若发现有人与有夫之妇同寝，就要将奸夫淫妇一起处死。这样，你就把恶从以色列中除掉。

“如果有人与有夫之妇通奸，必须处死奸夫和淫妇，这样就从以色列除掉了罪恶。

“如果发现有人和有夫之妇同寝，就要把奸夫淫妇二人都处死；这样，你就把那恶从以色列中除掉了。

『人若被發現和一個有了丈夫的婦人同寢，和那婦人同寢的那人、以及那婦人、他們二人都必須死；這樣，你就把那壞事從以色列中肅清了。

人與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則姦夫淫婦俱致之死、以除惡於以色列中、

有與他人之妻同寢、為人所見、則淫夫淫婦俱必被殺、如是絕惡於以色列族中。

人若與有夫之婦同寢、為人所見、則以二人、即姦夫淫婦、一併治死、知是、除惡於以色列人中、

If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

Suppose a man is seen sleeping with another man’s wife. Then the man and the woman must both die. Get rid of those evil people.

“ If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.

“ If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.

and this water that causes the curse will go into your stomach, and make your abdomen swell and your thigh rot.” Then the woman must say,“ Amen, amen.”“‘ Then the priest will write these curses on a scroll and then scrape them off into the bitter water.He will make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and the water that brings a curse will enter her to produce bitterness.The priest will take the grain offering of suspicion from the woman’s hand, wave the grain offering before the LORD, and bring it to the altar.Then the priest will take a handful of the grain offering as its memorial portion, burn it on the altar, and afterward make the woman drink the water.When he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and behaved unfaithfully toward her husband, the water that brings a curse will enter her to produce bitterness– her abdomen will swell, her thigh will fall away, and the woman will become a curse among her people.

and said to Jesus,“ Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of adultery.In the law Moses commanded us to stone to death such women. What then do you say?”

But upright men will punish them appropriately for their adultery and bloodshed, because they are adulteresses and blood is on their hands.“ For this is what the sovereign LORD says: Bring up an army against them and subject them to terror and plunder.That army will pelt them with stones and slash them with their swords; they will kill their sons and daughters and burn their houses.
