If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s donkey or ox that has fallen down on the road. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Help the owner get it up on its feet again.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way and ignore them. You shall help him to lift them up again.

那个人却要显示自己为义，就对耶稣说：“那么，谁是我的邻人呢？”耶稣回答说：“有一个人从耶路撒冷下到耶利哥去，途中遇到强盗。他们剥去他的衣服，把他打得半死，丢下他走了。恰好有一个祭司从那条路下来，看见他，就从另一边走了过去。有一个利未人也正好来到那地方，看见他，也同样地从另一边走了过去。可是，有一个撒马利亚人行路来到他那里，看见他，就动了怜悯之心，上前来，在他的伤处倒上油和酒，包扎好，然后把他扶上自己的牲口，带到旅店里照顾他。第二天，他拿出两个银币交给店家，说‘请你照顾他，一切额外的费用，我回来的时候将还给你。’“你认为，这三个人中，哪一个是落在强盗手中那人的邻人呢？”律法师说：“是那个怜悯他的人。”耶稣对他说：“你去如此做吧。”

我们坚强的人，应该担当不坚强人的软弱，不求自己的喜悦。

因此，你们要把发软的手、发酸的腿伸直吧！也要为你们的脚把道路修直，好使瘸腿的不至扭脚，反得痊愈。

所以为了你们的灵魂，我会极其乐意地付出，甚至完全付出。难道我爱你们越多，就越少得到你们的爱吗？

弟兄们，我们劝你们：要劝诫懒散的人，安慰胆怯的人，扶助软弱的人，对所有的人都要恒久忍耐。

但是我告诉你们：要爱你们的敌人，为那些逼迫你们的人祷告，
