「女人不可穿戴男人的衣物，男人也不可穿戴女人的衣物，因為這是你們的上帝耶和華所憎惡的。

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

A woman must not wear men’s clothes. And a man must not wear women’s clothes. The Lord your God hates it when anyone does this.

“ A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

“ A woman must not put on men’s clothing, and a man must not wear women’s clothing. Anyone who does this is detestable in the sight of the Lord your God.

“ A woman is not to wear male clothing, and a man is not to put on a woman’s garment, for everyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD your God.

“ A woman shall not wear a man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

男人在禱告和講道時，若蒙著頭，就是羞辱自己的頭。但婦女在禱告和講道時，若不蒙著頭，就是羞辱自己的頭，因為她就像剃光了頭髮一樣。因此，如果婦女不願意把頭蒙起來，就該把頭髮剪掉。如果她覺得剪髮或剃頭是羞恥的，就應該蒙頭。然而，男人不該蒙頭，因為男人是上帝的形像和榮耀，而女人是男人的榮耀。因為男人並非出自女人，而女人卻是出自男人。並且男人不是為女人而造的，女人卻是為男人而造的。因此為了天使的緣故，女人在頭上應該有服權柄的記號。不過在主裡面，女人不可沒有男人，男人不可沒有女人。因為女人是從男人而來，而以後所有的男人都是女人生的，但萬物都是來自上帝。你們自行斟酌吧，女人向上帝禱告時不蒙頭合適嗎？按著人的天性，難道你們不知道男人留長髮是他的羞辱，女人留長髮是她的榮耀嗎？因為頭髮是用來給女人蓋頭的。

凡做這些事的人都是耶和華所憎惡的。正是因為當地的民族做這些可憎之事，你們的上帝耶和華才要當著你們的面把他們趕走。
