“婦女不可穿男子的服裝；男子也不可穿婦人的衣服；因為這樣作的人，都是耶和華你的神厭惡的。

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

A woman must not wear men’s clothes. And a man must not wear women’s clothes. The Lord your God hates it when anyone does this.

“ A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

“ A woman must not put on men’s clothing, and a man must not wear women’s clothing. Anyone who does this is detestable in the sight of the Lord your God.

“ A woman is not to wear male clothing, and a man is not to put on a woman’s garment, for everyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD your God.

男人禱告或講道的時候，如果蒙著頭，就是羞辱自己的頭。女人禱告或講道的時候，如果不蒙著頭，就是羞辱自己的頭，因為這就好像剃了頭髮一樣。女人要不蒙著頭，她就應當把頭髮剪了；如果女人以為剪髮或剃頭是羞恥的事，她就應當蒙著頭。男人不應蒙著頭，因為他是神的形象和榮耀，而女人是男人的榮耀。因為男人不是由女人而出，女人卻是由男人而出，並且男人不是為了女人而造的，女人卻是為了男人而造的。因此，為天使的緣故，女人應當在頭上有服權柄的記號。然而在主裡面，女人不可以沒有男人，男人也不可以沒有女人。因為正如女人是由男人而出，照樣，男人是藉著女人而生；萬有都是出於神。你們自己判斷一下，女人向神禱告的時候不蒙頭，是合適的嗎？人的本性不是也教導你們，如果男人有長頭髮，就是他的羞恥嗎？如果女人有長頭髮，不就是她的榮耀嗎？因為頭髮是給她作蓋頭的。

因為行這些事的，都是耶和華厭惡的；就是因為這些可厭可惡的事的緣故，耶和華你的神才把他們從你的面前趕走。
