Let them live among you wherever they like and in whatever town they choose. Do not oppress them.

Let them live among you anywhere they want to. Let them live in any town they choose. Don’t treat them badly.

He shall dwell with you, in your midst, in the place that he shall choose within one of your towns, wherever it suits him. You shall not wrong him.

“不可亏待寄居的，也不可欺压他，因为你们在埃及地也作过寄居的。

求你赐谋略，行公平，使你的影子在正午如黑夜，掩护逃亡的人，不泄露逃难者的行踪。愿我摩押逃亡的人寄居在你那里，你作他们的避难所，躲避灭命者的面。勒索的人消失，毁灭的事止息，欺压者从国中除灭，

你们却羞辱贫穷的人。欺压你们，拉你们到公堂去的，不就是这些富有的人吗？

于是他去投靠当地的一个居民，那人打发他到田里去放猪。他恨不得拿猪所吃的豆荚充饥，也没有人给他什么吃的。他醒悟过来，就说：‘我父亲有多少雇工，粮食有余，我倒在这里饿死吗？我要起来，到我父亲那里去，对他说：父亲！我得罪了天，又得罪了你，从今以后，我不配称为你的儿子，把我当作一个雇工吧。’于是他起来，往他父亲那里去。相离还远，他父亲看见，就动了慈心，跑去拥抱着他，连连亲他。儿子对他说：‘父亲！我得罪了天，又得罪了你，从今以后，我不配称为你的儿子。’父亲却吩咐仆人：‘快把那上好的袍子拿出来给他穿，把戒指戴在他指头上，把鞋穿在他脚上，把那肥牛犊牵来宰了，我们来吃喝庆祝；因为我这个儿子是死而复活，失而复得的。’他们就开始庆祝。

不可欺压寡妇、孤儿、寄居的和困苦的人。谁都不可心里谋害弟兄。

不欺压寄居的和孤儿寡妇，不在这地方流无辜人的血，也不随从别神陷害自己，

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们，施行审判。我必速速作见证，警戒那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、剥削雇工工钱的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。”

不要毁谤，不要争吵，要和气，对众人总要显出温柔。我们从前也是无知、悖逆、受迷惑，作各样私欲和宴乐的奴隶，在恶毒、嫉妒中度日，是可恨的，而且彼此相恨。
