使爾在於榮耀、名譽、尊貴、超乎所造萬民、爾為聖民、歸爾上帝耶和華、循其所言、

則必舉爾於高、勝於所造四方之億兆、肇錫嘉名、加以尊榮、可為聖民、以事爾上帝耶和華、循其所許。

使爾得聲名尊貴榮耀、超乎所造萬民之上、使爾為聖民於主爾之天主前、循其所許、

He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

He has announced that he will make you famous. He’ll give you more praise and honor than all the other nations he has made. And he has said that you will be a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. That’s exactly what he promised to do.

And if you do, he will set you high above all the other nations he has made. Then you will receive praise, honor, and renown. You will be a nation that is holy to the Lord your God, just as he promised.”

因為你歸耶和華－你神為聖潔的民；耶和華－你神從地上的萬民中揀選你，特作自己的子民。

「你若留意聽從耶和華－你神的話，謹守遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，他必使你超乎天下萬民之上。

人必稱他們為「聖民」，為「耶和華的贖民」；你也必稱為「被眷顧、不撇棄的城」。

你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為聖潔的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

哪一大國的人有神與他們相近，像耶和華－我們的神，在我們求告他的時候與我們相近呢？又哪一大國有這樣公義的律例典章，像我今日在你們面前所陳明的這一切律法呢？

你們來到主面前，也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，作聖潔的祭司，藉着耶穌基督奉獻神所悅納的靈祭。

並那誠實作見證的、從死裏首先復活、為世上君王元首的耶穌基督，有恩惠、平安歸與你們！他愛我們，用自己的血使我們脫離罪惡，又使我們成為國民，作他父神的祭司。但願榮耀、權能歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

這城要在地上萬國人面前使我得頌讚，得榮耀，名為可喜可樂之城。萬國人因聽見我向這城所賜的福樂、所施的恩惠平安，就懼怕戰兢。」

那時，我必罰辦一切苦待你的人，又拯救你瘸腿的，聚集你被趕出的。那些在全地受羞辱的，我必使他們得稱讚，有名聲。

你若謹守耶和華－你神的誡命，遵行他的道，他必照着向你所起的誓立你作為自己的聖民。

我也將環子戴在你鼻子上，將耳環戴在你耳朵上，將華冠戴在你頭上。這樣，你就有金銀的妝飾，穿的是細麻衣和絲綢，並繡花衣；吃的是細麵、蜂蜜，並油。你也極其美貌，發達到王后的尊榮。你美貌的名聲傳在列邦中，你十分美貌，是因我加在你身上的威榮。這是主耶和華說的。

他將他百姓的角高舉，因此他一切聖民以色列人，就是與他相近的百姓，都讚美他！你們要讚美耶和華！

他們必將你們的弟兄從列國中送回，使他們或騎馬，或坐車，坐轎，騎騾子，騎獨峯駝，到我的聖山耶路撒冷，作為供物獻給耶和華，好像以色列人用潔淨的器皿盛供物奉到耶和華的殿中；這是耶和華說的。耶和華說：我也必從他們中間取人為祭司，為利未人。」

耶和華說：「腰帶怎樣緊貼人腰，照樣，我也使以色列全家和猶大全家緊貼我，好叫他們屬我為子民，使我得名聲，得頌讚，得榮耀；他們卻不肯聽。」

你若聽從耶和華－你神的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，謹守遵行，不偏左右，也不隨從事奉別神，耶和華就必使你作首不作尾，但居上不居下。」
