故必順從其命、遵我今日所諭之禁令禮儀。○

故必聽從其言、行其誡命律例、即我今日所諭爾者、○

Obey the Lord your God and follow his commands and decrees that I give you today.”

人乎、耶和華已示爾何者為善、彼所求於爾者、非惟行公義、好仁慈、謙卑與爾上帝偕行乎、○

故當純全若爾天父焉、

如順命之子、不狥昔時無知之慾、召爾者聖矣、爾之諸行亦宜效其聖、蓋記云、爾將為聖、因我聖也、

故當愛爾上帝耶和華、恆守其諭、及其典章、律例誡命、

耶和華所為之大事、惟爾目擊、故我今日所諭爾之誡命、爾當恪守、致強厥志、以入所往而得之地、

以色列人歟、爾上帝耶和華何求於爾、第寅畏之、遵行其道、一心一意、愛之事之、守耶和華之誡命典章、我今日所諭爾者、俾爾獲益、

萬民各奉其神之名而行、惟我儕必奉我上帝耶和華之名而行、至於永久焉、○

故我言之、且緣主勸之、爾之所行、毋復志意虛妄、如異邦人然、彼心思蒙昧、外乎上帝之生、因其無知而心頑也、既失其良、狥於邪侈、貪行諸污、爾學基督則不然、爾果聞之、且由之受教、依耶穌之真、爾於夙習之行、宜脫舊人、即以欺罔之慾、而自敗者、心志亦宜更新、且衣以新人、乃肖上帝、由真理之聖與義而造者也、○

告以色列會眾云、我乃耶和華、爾之上帝、我聖爾亦當聖、

基督既以身受苦、爾亦宜以此志自衛、蓋受苦於身者、則與罪絕矣、俾不再循人慾、惟循上帝之旨、以度餘年、爾往時從異邦人之欲、而行邪侈、縱恣、沉湎、荒宴、盤樂、及違理拜像之事亦足矣、
