The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

The Lord will help your enemies win the battle over you. You will come at them from one direction. But you will run away from them in every direction. All the kingdoms on earth will be completely shocked when they see you.

“ The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

一人叱喝，令千人逃跑，五人叱喝，你们都逃跑；以致剩下的如山顶的旗杆，如山冈上的大旗。

我必使他们在地上万国中成为恐惧，成为灾祸，在我赶逐他们到的各处成为凌辱、笑柄、讥笑、诅咒的对象。

“耶和华必使那起来攻击你的仇敌在你面前溃败。他们从一条路来攻击你，必在你面前从七条路逃跑。

若非他们的磐石卖了他们，若非耶和华交出他们，一人岂能追赶千人，二人焉能使万人逃跑呢？

我要向你们变脸，使你们败在仇敌的面前。恨恶你们的必管辖你们；无人追赶，你们却要逃跑。

他们若问你说：‘我们往哪里去呢？’你就告诉他们，耶和华如此说：‘定为死亡的，必致死亡；定为刀杀的，必被刀杀；定为饥荒的，必遭饥荒；定为掳掠的，必被掳掠。’”“我命定四样灾害临到他们，就是刀剑杀戮、群狗拖拉、空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽吞吃毁灭。这是耶和华说的。我必使地上万国因他们而惊骇，都因希西家的儿子犹大王玛拿西在耶路撒冷所做的事。”耶路撒冷啊，有谁同情你呢？有谁为你悲伤呢？有谁转身问你安呢？你弃绝了我，转身退后；因此我伸手攻击你，毁灭你，我已怜悯到厌烦了。这是耶和华说的。我在境内各关口用簸箕筛我的百姓，使他们丧掉儿女，又毁灭他们，他们仍不转离所行的道。他们的寡妇在我面前比海沙更多；我使灭命者在正午来到，攻击年轻人的母亲，使痛苦惊吓忽然临到她身上。生过七个孩子的妇人衰弱；尚在白昼，太阳忽然落下，她就抱愧蒙羞。我必当着敌人的面，将他们当中的幸存者交给刀剑。这是耶和华说的。

至于你们幸存的人，我要使他们在敌人之地心中惊慌，甚至风吹落叶的声音也把他们吓跑。他们要逃避，像人逃避刀剑，虽无人追赶，却要跌倒。虽然无人追赶，他们却要彼此绊倒，像逃避刀剑一样。你们在仇敌面前必站立不住。

我必用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫追赶他们，使地上万国因他们而惊骇；在我赶他们到的各国，令人诅咒、惊骇、嗤笑、羞辱。

所以耶和华如此说：你们不听从我，各人不向弟兄邻舍宣告自由。看哪！我要向你们宣告自由，把你们自由地交给刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫，并且使地上万国因你们而惊骇。这是耶和华说的。

他们要倒在刀下，又被掳到各国去。耶路撒冷要被外邦人践踏，直到外邦人的日子满了。”
