耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾攻之也由一途、爾逃之也由七途、拋棄於天下萬國之中、

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾合一處而去、必分七途而遁、播棄於天下億兆之中。

主必使爾為敵所敗、爾由一途出以攻敵、必由七途逃於其前、必受天下萬國之凌辱、

The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

The Lord will help your enemies win the battle over you. You will come at them from one direction. But you will run away from them in every direction. All the kingdoms on earth will be completely shocked when they see you.

“ The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

“ The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies. You will attack your enemies from one direction, but you will scatter from them in seven! You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

主耶和華如此說：「我要讓軍隊上來攻擊她們，使她們驚駭，成為擄物。

一人叱喝，令千人逃跑，五人叱喝，你們都逃跑；以致剩下的如山頂的旗杆，如山岡上的大旗。

我必使他們在地上萬國中成為恐懼，成為災禍，在我趕逐他們到的各處成為凌辱、笑柄、譏笑、詛咒的對象。

「耶和華必使那起來攻擊你的仇敵在你面前潰敗。他們從一條路來攻擊你，必在你面前從七條路逃跑。

若非他們的磐石賣了他們，若非耶和華交出他們，一人豈能追趕千人，二人焉能使萬人逃跑呢？

我要向你們變臉，使你們敗在仇敵的面前。恨惡你們的必管轄你們；無人追趕，你們卻要逃跑。

他們若問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你就告訴他們，耶和華如此說：『定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必被刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。』」「我命定四樣災害臨到他們，就是刀劍殺戮、羣狗拖拉、空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸吞吃毀滅。這是耶和華說的。我必使地上萬國因他們而驚駭，都因希西家的兒子猶大王瑪拿西在耶路撒冷所做的事。」耶路撒冷啊，有誰同情你呢？有誰為你悲傷呢？有誰轉身問你安呢？你棄絕了我，轉身退後；因此我伸手攻擊你，毀滅你，我已憐憫到厭煩了。這是耶和華說的。我在境內各關口用簸箕篩我的百姓，使他們喪掉兒女，又毀滅他們，他們仍不轉離所行的道。他們的寡婦在我面前比海沙更多；我使滅命者在正午來到，攻擊年輕人的母親，使痛苦驚嚇忽然臨到她身上。生過七個孩子的婦人衰弱；尚在白晝，太陽忽然落下，她就抱愧蒙羞。我必當着敵人的面，將他們當中的倖存者交給刀劍。這是耶和華說的。

至於你們倖存的人，我要使他們在敵人之地心中驚慌，甚至風吹落葉的聲音也把他們嚇跑。他們要逃避，像人逃避刀劍，雖無人追趕，卻要跌倒。雖然無人追趕，他們卻要彼此絆倒，像逃避刀劍一樣。你們在仇敵面前必站立不住。

我必用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫追趕他們，使地上萬國因他們而驚駭；在我趕他們到的各國，令人詛咒、驚駭、嗤笑、羞辱。

所以耶和華如此說：你們不聽從我，各人不向弟兄鄰舍宣告自由。看哪！我要向你們宣告自由，把你們自由地交給刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫，並且使地上萬國因你們而驚駭。這是耶和華說的。

他們要倒在刀下，又被擄到各國去。耶路撒冷要被外邦人踐踏，直到外邦人的日子滿了。」
