『我不單同你們立這約、宣這誓；

此約與誓、我不第與爾曹立也、

我立此盟約、不第與爾曹、

I am making this covenant, with its oath, not only with you

I’m making this covenant and the promise that goes along with it. I’m making this covenant with you.

It is not with you alone that I am making this sworn covenant,

“ But you are not the only ones with whom I am making this covenant with its curses.

I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

“ Now it is not with you alone that I am making this covenant and this oath,

“ I make this covenant and this oath, not with you alone,

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath,

I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

It is not with you alone that I am making this covenant by oath,

Neither do I make this covenant and this oath with you only,

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必跟以色列家和猶大家立個新的約，不像我拉着他們祖宗的手、領他們出埃及地的日子、跟他們立的約那樣：我雖做他們的夫君，他們卻違犯了我的約：永恆主發神諭說。但那些日子以後，永恆主發神諭說，我跟以色列家所立的約乃是這樣：我必將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上；我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。他們各人必不再教導自己的鄰舍、和自己的弟兄，說：「你該認識永恆主！」因為他們從最小的、到至大的、都必認識我，永恆主發神諭說：因為我要赦免他們的罪孽；他們的罪、我必不再追念。』

假使先前的是無可責備，就不必為一個在後的找地位了。因為上帝真地指摘他的子民說：『看吧，日子必到，主說，我必跟以色列家和猶大家立個新的約。不像我在拉着他們的手、領他們出埃及的日子、同他們列祖所立的那種約；因為他們沒有恆守我的約，我也不理他們，主說。因為那些日子以後，主說，我要同以色列家立的就是以下這種約：我要頒賜我的律法在他們心神裏，我要將那些律法寫在他們心上；我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。他們各人決不用教導自己的同國人，各人決不用教導自己的弟兄說：「你該認識主」。因為眾人都要認識我，從他們最小的到最大的；因為我要憐赦他們的不義；他們的罪、我決不再記着』。
