耶和華－你的神必在你面前過河，把這些國從你面前除滅，你就必得他們的地。約書亞要在你面前過河，是照耶和華所吩咐的。

主爾之天主、必導於爾前以過、將滅此諸國之民、爾必得其地、約書亞必導爾渡河、遵主所言、

The Lord your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the Lord said.

The Lord your God himself will go across ahead of you. He’ll destroy the nations there in order to make room for you. You will take over their land. Joshua will also go across ahead of you, just as the Lord said he would.

The Lord your God himself will go over before you. He will destroy these nations before you, so that you shall dispossess them, and Joshua will go over at your head, as the Lord has spoken.

你今日應當知道，耶和華－你的神在你前面渡過去，如同吞噬的火，要除滅他們，並要在你面前將他們制伏，使你可以趕出他們，速速消滅他們，正如耶和華向你所說的。

你卻要吩咐約書亞，勉勵他，使他壯膽，因為他必在這百姓前面過去，使他們承受你所要觀看之地。』

在那日，耶和華使約書亞在以色列眾人眼前被尊為大。在他一生的年日中，百姓敬服他，像從前敬服摩西一樣。

「我的僕人摩西死了。現在你要起來，和眾百姓過這約旦河，往我所要賜給以色列人的地去。

耶和華吩咐嫩的兒子約書亞說：「你當剛強壯膽，因為你必領以色列人進入我所起誓應許他們的地，我必與你同在。」

若是約書亞已使他們享了安息，後來神就不會再提別的日子了。

你們不要倚靠君王，不要倚靠世人，他一點也不能幫助。他的氣一斷，就歸回塵土，他所打算的，當日就消滅了。以雅各的神為幫助、仰望耶和華－他神的，這人有福了！耶和華造天、地、海和其中的萬物，他守信實，直到永遠。

你曾用手趕出外邦人，卻栽培了我們的列祖；你苦待萬民，卻叫我們的列祖發達。因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍承受土地，也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝，而是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你臉上的亮光，因為你喜愛他們。

這帳幕，我們的祖宗同約書亞相繼承受了，當神在他們面前趕走外邦人的時候，他們把這帳幕搬進承受為業之地，直存到大衛的日子。

耶和華對摩西說：「嫩的兒子約書亞是一個有聖靈的人；你要領他來，為他按手，使他站在以利亞撒祭司和全會眾面前，在他們眼前委派他，又將你的尊榮給他一些，好使以色列全會眾都聽從他。他要站在以利亞撒祭司面前；以利亞撒要憑烏陵的判斷，在耶和華面前為他求問。他和以色列全會眾都要照以利亞撒的指示出入。」

耶和華對摩西說：「看哪，你的死期已近了。要召約書亞來，和你一起站在會幕裏，我好吩咐他。」於是摩西和約書亞去站在會幕裏。

摩西召了約書亞來，在以色列眾人眼前對他說：「你當剛強壯膽！因為你要和這百姓一同進入耶和華向他們列祖起誓要給他們的地，你也要使他們承受那地為業。耶和華必在你前面行，他必親自與你同在，必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。你不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。」

嫩的兒子約書亞，因為摩西曾為他按手，他就被智慧的靈充滿。以色列人聽從他，照着耶和華所吩咐摩西的去做。

耶和華對約書亞說：「從今日起，我必使你在以色列眾人眼前被尊為大，使他們知道我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在。

以色列又對約瑟說：「看哪，我快要死了，但神必與你們同在，領你們回到你們祖先之地。
