惟愿他们存这样的心敬畏我，常遵守我一切的诫命，使他们和他们的子孙永远得福。

我的子民若肯听从我，以色列肯行我的道，

“有一个财主穿着紫色袍和细麻布衣服，天天奢华宴乐。又有一个讨饭的，名叫拉撒路，浑身长疮，被人放在财主门口，想得财主桌子上掉下来的碎食充饥，甚至还有狗来舔他的疮。后来那讨饭的死了，被天使带去放在亚伯拉罕的怀里。财主也死了，并且埋葬了。他在阴间受苦，举目远远地望见亚伯拉罕，又望见拉撒路在他怀里，他就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路来，用指头尖蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦。’亚伯拉罕说：‘孩子啊，你该回想你生前享过福，拉撒路也同样受过苦，如今他在这里得安慰，你却受痛苦。

耶稣快到耶路撒冷，看见那城，就为它哀哭，说：“但愿你在这日子知道有关你平安的事，不过这事现在是隐藏的，你的眼睛看不出来。

神却对他说：‘无知的人哪！今夜就要你的性命，你所预备的要归谁呢？’

智慧人必明白这些事，聪明人必知道这一切。耶和华的道是正直的，义人行在其中，罪人却在其上跌倒。

你说：“我必永远为后。”你不将这事放在心上，也不思想事情的结局。

甚愿你听从我的命令，你的平安就会如河水，你的公义如海浪，你的后裔必多如海沙，你腹中所生的必多如沙粒。他的名绝不从我面前剪除，也不灭绝。”

凡有智慧的必在这些事上留心，他必思想耶和华的慈爱。

就是先知说假预言，祭司把权柄抓在自己手上，我的百姓也喜爱这样，到了结局你们要怎么办呢？”

她的污秽是在下摆上；她未曾思想自己的结局，她的败落令人惊诧，无人安慰她。“耶和华啊，求你看顾我的苦难，因为仇敌强大。”

但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所做的奇事都称谢他；

那不按正道得财富的，好像鹧鸪孵不是自己生的；到了中年，财富必离开他，终久他必成为愚顽人。

到降罚的日子，灾祸从远方临到，那时，你们要怎么办呢？你们要向谁逃奔求救呢？你们的财宝要存放何处呢？
