「請你們問示劍的眾人說，是耶路‧巴力的眾子七十人都管理你們好呢？還是一人管理你們好呢？你們又要記念我是你們的骨肉。」

他未見雅各中有罪孽，也未見以色列中有奸惡。耶和華－他的神和他同在；有歡呼王的聲音在他們中間。

現在你要聽我的話。我為你出個主意，願神與你同在。你要替百姓到神面前，將案件奏告神；

那時以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。
