又恐怕你舉目望天，觀看着日、月、星辰、天上的萬象，就被勾引、去敬拜事奉它們，事奉永恆主你的上帝所分給普天下萬族之民的。

又恐怕你向天举目观看，见耶和华你的神为天下万民所摆列的日月星，就是天上的万象，自己便被勾引敬拜侍奉它。

又恐怕你向天举目，看见耶和华—你的上帝为天下万民所摆列的日月星辰，就是天上的万象，就被诱惑去敬拜它们，事奉它们。

当你们举目观看你们的上帝耶和华赐给天下万民的日、月、星辰等天上万象时，不要受诱惑去跪拜、供奉它们。

又恐怕你抬头望天，看见日、月、星，就是天上万象的时候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它们，那原是耶和华你们的神分给天下万民享用的。

又恐爾仰觀於天、見日月星諸象、乃爾上帝耶和華為天下萬民所陳者、受惑而崇事之、

爾仰觀天象、有日月星辰焉、恐爾迷眩、奉事崇拜之、天下億兆既行此、爾之上帝耶和華亦姑聽之、

又恐爾舉目向天、見日月星辰及諸星宿、諸星宿或作諸天像即主爾之天主為天下萬民所陳列者、則自迷惑崇拜奉事、

And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars— all the heavenly array— do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

When you look up at the heavens, you will see the sun and moon. And you will see huge numbers of stars. Don’t let anyone tempt you to bow down to the sun, moon or stars. Don’t worship things the Lord your God has provided for all the nations on earth.

And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the forces of heaven— don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the stars in the sky— do not be led astray to bow in worship to them and serve them. The LORD your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the heavenly lights, and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.

and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of heaven, thou be drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Jehovah thy God hath allotted unto all the peoples under the whole heaven.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the array of heaven— do not be led astray to bow down and worship them. The Lord your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars,[ even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

When you look up to the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars– the whole heavenly creation– you must not be seduced to worship and serve them, for the LORD your God has assigned them to all the people of the world.

and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.

他重新建築了他父親希西家所毁壞的邱壇，又為外國神巴力立了幾座祭壇，又造了一根亞舍拉神木，像以色列王亞哈所行的，並且敬拜事奉了天上的萬象。

他們撇棄了永恆主他們的上帝一切的誡命，竟為自己造了兩個牛犢的鑄像，又造了亞舍拉神木，去敬拜天上的萬象，又事奉巴力。

於是上帝造了兩個大的發光體：一個較大的發光體來管白晝，一個較小的發光體來管黑夜；又造星辰。上帝把這些發光之體佈置在天穹，讓它們照在地上，來管晝夜，分別光暗：上帝看這很好。

天地與其萬彙都造齊了。

去事奉敬拜別的神，也拜日頭或月亮、或是任何天象、是我所沒有吩咐拜的；

要稱謝那造大光的，因為他堅固的愛永遠長存；他造日頭管白晝，因為他堅固的愛永遠長存；他造月亮星辰管黑夜，因為他堅固的愛永遠長存；

日頭月亮啊，你們要頌讚他！發光的眾星啊，你們要頌讚他！天上的天哪，你們要頌讚他！天上的水啊，你們要頌讚他！願這一切都頌讚永恆主的名！因為他一吩咐，就都被創造出來。

那時候，當永恆主將亞摩利人交付以色列人的日子，約書亞就對永恆主說話；他在以色列人眼前說：『日頭啊，在基遍停着哦；月亮啊，在亞雅崙山谷止住哦。』於是日頭就停着，月亮也站着，直等到國民在仇敵身上報了仇。這事豈不是寫在正直人詩歌集上麼？日頭在天當中站住，不急速下去、約有一整天。

這種人用了假去替換上帝之真，敬拜事奉了被創造之物，而不敬奉創造之主：就是應當受祝頌、萬世無窮的。阿們。

白晝屬於你，黑夜也屬於你；發光之體和日頭、是你豫備的。地的一切境界是你立的；夏天冬天是你制定的。

上帝就轉臉不顧，任憑他們去服事天上的星軍，正如神言人們書上所寫的：「以色列家啊，你們四十年在野地裏何曾將犧牲和祭物供獻與我呢？

這樣，你們才可以做你們天上的父的兒女；因為他安排日出、是照惡人、也照好人；他下雨是給老實人、也給不老實的人。

『以色列家啊，你們在曠野四十年何嘗將祭物和供物獻給我呢？你們抬着你們的王「索古特」、你們的星神「克完」、你們的神像，就是你們為自己所造的；

『你、惟獨你是永恆主；是你造了天、天上之天、和諸天的萬象，地和地上的萬物，海和海中的萬物；這一切都是你所保存的；天軍也都敬拜你。

他又把猶大諸王獻給日頭的馬廢去，那些馬是在進永恆主之殿的地方，近內侍拿丹米勒的房屋，在聖殿遊廊的廂房那裏；他並且用火將獻給日頭的車燒掉。

那使日頭白晝發光，又派定月亮和星辰做黑夜裏的光，也攪動大海，使它的波浪匉訇的，萬軍之永恆主耶和華是他的名，他這麼說：

我若見日光照耀，寶月行空，心裏暗暗受迷惑，手向日月揮接吻：這也是裁判官該辦的罪孽，因為我這樣不忠於在上的上帝。

王吩咐大祭司希勒家和副祭司跟把守門檻的、將那為巴力和亞舍拉女神跟天上萬象所造的器皿、都從永恆主殿堂裏搬出來，在耶路撒冷外頭汲淪谿谷的田園裏燒了，把灰燼拿到伯特利去。從前猶大諸王所立拜偶像的祭司、在猶大各城的邱壇和耶路撒冷的四圍燻祭、現在王都罷免他們；也罷免那些向巴力和日月星辰跟天上萬象燻祭的人。

剪除那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，剪除那些敬拜永恆主，指着永恆主來起誓、竟又指着米勒公來起誓的，

拋散在日頭、月亮、和天上的萬象之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的；這些骸骨必不再被收殮，不再埋葬，就在地面上成為糞土。

但永恆主這麼說：我若沒有跟黑夜白晝立我的約，我若沒有立定天地的定律，

耶路撒冷的房屋、和猶大列王的宮殿，就是一切房屋，人在那些房頂上向天上萬象燻祭或向別的神澆奠祭的，都必像陀斐特地方一樣地被沾污。」』

他又領我到永恆主之殿的內院；只見在永恆主殿堂的門口，廊子與祭壇之間、約有二十五個人、背向着永恆主的殿堂，面向着東方，向東拜着日頭。
