我必使你們四散於外國中，我必拔刀來追趕你們，你們的地就荒涼，你們的城市就荒廢。

他們對我說：『那些沒有被擄的餘民在猶大省那裏遭大患難，受凌辱；耶路撒冷的城牆拆了破口，城門又被火焚燒。』

『在那裏有米設和土巴跟她所有的眾民；其墳墓在她四圍；他們都是沒受割禮而被刀刺死的；他們曾在活人之地使人驚恐。

求你記得你所吩咐你僕人摩西的話、說：「你們若不忠實，我就要使你們分散在萬族之民中；你們若回轉來歸向我，謹守遵行我的誡命，那你們被趕散的人即使在天邊，我也必從那裏將他們招集回來，將他們帶到我所選擇使我名居住的地方。」
