“ In the distant future, when you are suffering all these things, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what he tells you.

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey him.

All the things I’ve told you about might happen to you. And you will be in trouble. But later you will return to the Lord your God. You will obey him.

When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, in the future you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, in the latter days thou shalt return to Jehovah thy God, and hearken unto his voice:

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will return to the Lord your God in later days and obey Him.

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee,[ even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

In your distress when all these things happen to you in the latter days, if you return to the LORD your God and obey him

When you are in oppression, and all these things have come on you, in the latter days you shall return to Yahweh your God and listen to his voice.

But afterward the people will return and devote themselves to the Lord their God and to David’s descendant, their king. In the last days, they will tremble in awe of the Lord and of his goodness.

I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and will turn from the way I have commanded you to follow. In the days to come, disaster will come down on you, for you will do what is evil in the Lord’s sight, making him very angry with your actions.”

The anger of the Lord will not diminish until it has finished all he has planned. In the days to come you will understand all this very clearly.

Then Balaam looked over toward the people of Amalek and delivered this message:“ Amalek was the greatest of nations, but its destiny is destruction!”

Then Jacob called together all his sons and said,“ Gather around me, and I will tell you what will happen to each of you in the days to come.

And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

That is why the Lord says,“ Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.

If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat.

This is what I told them:‘ Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’

In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.

“ If they sin against you— and who has never sinned?— you might become angry with them and let their enemies conquer them and take them captive to a foreign land far away or near.But in that land of exile, they might turn to you in repentance and pray,‘ We have sinned, done evil, and acted wickedly.’If they turn to you with their whole heart and soul in the land of their captivity and pray toward the land you gave to their ancestors— toward this city you have chosen, and toward this Temple I have built to honor your name—then hear their prayers and their petitions from heaven where you live, and uphold their cause. Forgive your people who have sinned against you.

Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the Lord.

I preached first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that all must repent of their sins and turn to God— and prove they have changed by the good things they do.

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord. Say to him,“ Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.Assyria cannot save us, nor can our warhorses. Never again will we say to the idols we have made,‘ You are our gods.’ No, in you alone do the orphans find mercy.”

The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.

People will come from distant lands to rebuild the Temple of the Lord. And when this happens, you will know that my messages have been from the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. All this will happen if you carefully obey what the Lord your God says.

All Israel has disobeyed your instruction and turned away, refusing to listen to your voice.“ So now the solemn curses and judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured down on us because of our sin.You have kept your word and done to us and our rulers exactly as you warned. Never has there been such a disaster as happened in Jerusalem.Every curse written against us in the Law of Moses has come true. Yet we have refused to seek mercy from the Lord our God by turning from our sins and recognizing his truth.Therefore, the Lord has brought upon us the disaster he prepared. The Lord our God was right to do all of these things, for we did not obey him.“ O Lord our God, you brought lasting honor to your name by rescuing your people from Egypt in a great display of power. But we have sinned and are full of wickedness.In view of all your faithful mercies, Lord, please turn your furious anger away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. All the neighboring nations mock Jerusalem and your people because of our sins and the sins of our ancestors.“ O our God, hear your servant’s prayer! Listen as I plead. For your own sake, Lord, smile again on your desolate sanctuary.“ O my God, lean down and listen to me. Open your eyes and see our despair. See how your city— the city that bears your name— lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy.“ O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.”

Then my anger will blaze forth against them. I will abandon them, hiding my face from them, and they will be devoured. Terrible trouble will come down on them, and on that day they will say,‘ These disasters have come down on us because God is no longer among us!’

“ If they sin against you— and who has never sinned?— you might become angry with them and let their enemies conquer them and take them captive to their land far away or near.But in that land of exile, they might turn to you in repentance and pray,‘ We have sinned, done evil, and acted wickedly.’If they turn to you with their whole heart and soul in the land of their enemies and pray toward the land you gave to their ancestors— toward this city you have chosen, and toward this Temple I have built to honor your name—then hear their prayers and their petition from heaven where you live, and uphold their cause.Forgive your people who have sinned against you. Forgive all the offenses they have committed against you. Make their captors merciful to them,for they are your people— your special possession— whom you brought out of the iron smelting furnace of Egypt.“ May your eyes be open to my requests and to the requests of your people Israel. May you hear and answer them whenever they cry out to you.For when you brought our ancestors out of Egypt, O Sovereign Lord, you told your servant Moses that you had set Israel apart from all the nations of the earth to be your own special possession.”

Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come.”

Moses told his father in law everything the Lord had done to Pharaoh and Egypt on behalf of Israel. He also told about all the hardships they had experienced along the way and how the Lord had rescued his people from all their troubles.
