He showed you his great fire on earth, and you heard his words from the fire.Because he loved your ancestors, he chose their descendants after them and brought you out of Egypt by his presence and great power,

He gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people for his own possession, eager to do good works.

having been rescued from the hand of our enemies, would serve him without fearin holiness and righteousness in his presence all our days.
