耶和华啊，哦，我是你的仆人；我是你的仆人，是你使女的儿子。你已经解开我的捆索。

追求公义、寻求耶和华的人哪，当听从我！你们要追想自己是从哪块磐石凿出，从哪个岩穴挖掘而来；要追想你们的祖宗亚伯拉罕和生你们的撒拉；因为我选召亚伯拉罕时，他只有一个人，但我赐福给他，使他增多。

他们在一切苦难当中，他也同受苦难，并且他面前的使者拯救他们。他以慈爱和怜悯救赎他们，在古时的日子时常抱他们，背他们。

所以，你们要记得：从前你们按肉体是外邦人，是“没受割礼的”；这名字是那些凭人手在肉身上“受割礼的人”所取的。要记得那时候，你们与基督无关，与以色列选民团体隔绝，在所应许的约上是局外人，而且在世上没有指望，没有神。

神何曾为自己尝试从别的国中领出一国的子民来，用考验、神迹、奇事、战争、大能的手、伸出来的膀臂和大可畏的事，像耶和华—你们的神在埃及，在你们眼前为你们所做的一切事呢？这是要显给你看，使你知道，惟有耶和华他是神，除他以外，再没有别的了。他从天上使你听见他的声音，为要教导你，又在地上使你看见他的烈火，并且听见他从火中所说的话。因为他爱你的列祖，拣选他们的后裔，亲自用大能领你出了埃及，

他为我们的缘故舍己，为了要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们作他自己的子民，热心为善。

叫我们既从仇敌手中被救出来，就可以终身在他面前，无所惧怕地用圣洁和公义事奉他。
