Do this so that you may fear the LORD your God all the days of your life by keeping all his statutes and commands I am giving you, your son, and your grandson, and so that you may have a long life.

这样，你们就会得享长寿，你们及子孙就会终生敬畏你们的上帝耶和华，遵守祂借我吩咐你们的一切律例和诫命。

俾爾及子孫、畢生寅畏爾上帝耶和華、守其典章誡命、凡我所命爾者、以致延年、

爾與子孫、當畢生畏爾上帝耶和華、守我所傳之法度禮儀、則可享遐齡。

使爾與子孫畢生敬畏主爾之天主、守其一切律例誡命、即我所命爾者、致爾壽命綿長、

so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.

Then you, your children and their children after them will honor the Lord your God as long as you live. Obey all his rules and commands I’m giving you. If you do, you will enjoy long life.

that you may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son’s son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be long.

and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the Lord your God as long as you live. If you obey all his decrees and commands, you will enjoy a long life.

You must follow the LORD your God and fear him. You must keep his commands and listen to him; you must worship him and remain faithful to him.

Moses responded to the people,“ Don’t be afraid, for God has come to test you, so that you will fear him and will not sin.”

Keep his statutes and commands, which I am giving you today, so that you and your children after you may prosper and so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”

When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: fear God and keep his commands, because this is for all humanity.

For the one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,and let him turn away from evil and do what is good. Let him seek peace and pursue it,

You are to fear the LORD your God and worship him. Remain faithful to him and take oaths in his name.

Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and so that you may prosper in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

If you appeal to the Father who judges impartially according to each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in reverence during your time living as strangers.

How happy is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways!

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;for they will bring you many days, a full life, and well-being.

Iniquity is atoned for by loyalty and faithfulness, and one turns from evil by the fear of the LORD.

Then he said,“ Do not lay a hand on the boy or do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your only son from me.”

Follow the whole instruction the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live, prosper, and have a long life in the land you will possess.

Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

But I will show you the one to fear: Fear him who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the one to fear!

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his instructions have good insight. His praise endures forever.

He said to mankind,“ The fear of the Lord— that is wisdom. And to turn from evil is understanding.”

“ And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you except to fear the LORD your God by walking in all his ways, to love him, and to worship the LORD your God with all your heart and all your soul?Keep the LORD’s commands and statutes I am giving you today, for your own good.

We will not hide them from their children, but will tell a future generation the praiseworthy acts of the LORD, his might, and the wondrous works he has performed.He established a testimony in Jacob and set up a law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach to their childrenso that a future generation— children yet to be born— might know. They were to rise and tell their childrenso that they might put their confidence in God and not forget God’s works, but keep his commands.Then they would not be like their ancestors, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not loyal and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

For I have chosen him so that he will command his children and his house after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just. This is how the LORD will fulfill to Abraham what he promised him.”

The day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, the LORD said to me,‘ Assemble the people before me, and I will let them hear my words, so that they may learn to fear me all the days they live on the earth and may instruct their children.’

You may take the young for yourself, but be sure to let the mother go free, so that you may prosper and live long.

Long life is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor.
