do not be afraid of them. Be sure to remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt:

But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt.

you shall not be afraid of them but you shall remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt,

Remember the wondrous works he has done, his wonders, and the judgments he has pronounced,

Be strong and courageous; don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For the LORD your God is the one who will go with you; he will not leave you or abandon you.”

“ So I said to you: Don’t be terrified or afraid of them!

I will remember the LORD’s works; yes, I will remember your ancient wonders.

Wake up, wake up! Arm of the LORD, clothe yourself with strength. Wake up as in days past, as in generations long ago. Wasn’t it you who hacked Rahab to pieces, who pierced the sea monster?Wasn’t it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made the sea-bed into a road for the redeemed to pass over?

They forgot what he had done, the wondrous works he had shown them.

The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— whom should I dread?When evildoers came against me to devour my flesh, my foes and my enemies stumbled and fell.

He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.They performed his miraculous signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and it became dark— for did they not defy his commands?He turned their water into blood and caused their fish to die.Their land was overrun with frogs, even in their royal chambers.He spoke, and insects came— gnats throughout their country.He gave them hail for rain, and lightning throughout their land.He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their territory.He spoke, and locusts came— young locusts without number.They devoured all the vegetation in their land and consumed the produce of their land.He struck all the firstborn in their land, all their first progeny.

He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, both people and animals.He sent signs and wonders against you, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his officials.He struck down many nations and slaughtered mighty kings:

He struck the firstborn of the Egyptians His faithful love endures forever.and brought Israel out from among them His faithful love endures forever.with a strong hand and outstretched arm. His faithful love endures forever.He divided the Red Sea His faithful love endures forever.and led Israel through, His faithful love endures forever.but hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.

We completely destroyed them, as we had done to King Sihon of Heshbon, destroying the men, women, and children of every city.

Gideon said to him,“ Please, my lord, if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened? And where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about? They said,‘ Hasn’t the LORD brought us out of Egypt?’ But now the LORD has abandoned us and handed us over to Midian.”

Then he remembered the days of the past, the days of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit among the flock?He made his glorious strength available at the right hand of Moses, divided the water before them to make an eternal name for himself,and led them through the depths like a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble.Like cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. You led your people this way to make a glorious name for yourself.Look down from heaven and see from your lofty home— holy and beautiful. Where is your zeal and your might? Your yearning and your compassion are withheld from me.

They did not remember his power shown on the day he redeemed them from the foe,when he performed his miraculous signs in Egypt and his wonders in the territory of Zoan.He turned their rivers into blood, and they could not drink from their streams.He sent among them swarms of flies, which fed on them, and frogs, which devastated them.He gave their crops to the caterpillar and the fruit of their labor to the locust.He killed their vines with hail and their sycamore fig trees with a flood.He handed over their livestock to hail and their cattle to lightning bolts.He sent his burning anger against them: fury, indignation, and calamity— a band of deadly messengers.He cleared a path for his anger. He did not spare them from death but delivered their lives to the plague.He struck all the firstborn in Egypt, the first progeny of the tents of Ham.

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,

The LORD answered Moses,“ See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet.You must say whatever I command you; then Aaron your brother must declare it to Pharaoh so that he will let the Israelites go from his land.But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.Pharaoh will not listen to you, but I will put my hand into Egypt and bring the military divisions of my people the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by great acts of judgment.The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring out the Israelites from among them.”So Moses and Aaron did this; they did just as the LORD commanded them.Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,“ When Pharaoh tells you,‘ Perform a miracle,’ tell Aaron,‘ Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh. It will become a serpent.’”So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD had commanded. Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a serpent.But then Pharaoh called the wise men and sorcerers— the magicians of Egypt, and they also did the same thing by their occult practices.Each one threw down his staff, and it became a serpent. But Aaron’s staff swallowed their staffs.However, Pharaoh’s heart was hard, and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said.Then the LORD said to Moses,“ Pharaoh’s heart is hard: He refuses to let the people go.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.Be sure that all who are enraged against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will become as nothing and will perish.You will look for those who contend with you, but you will not find them. Those who war against you will become absolutely nothing.For I am the LORD your God, who holds your right hand, who says to you,“ Do not fear, I will help you.Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel. I will help you”— this is the LORD’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
