Be sure you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping his commandments, ordinances, and statutes that I am giving you today.

『你要謹慎，恐怕你忘記了永恆主你的上帝，不遵守他的誡命、典章、律例、就是我今日所吩咐你的；

慎勿忘爾上帝耶和華、不守其誡命、律例典章、即我今日所諭爾者、

慎勿忘之、今日所垂之誡命、法度禮儀、不可違逆、

當謹恪自慎、恐忘主爾之天主、不守其誡命法度律例、即我今日所諭爾者、

Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.

For the waywardness of the simpletons will kill them, and the careless ease of fools will destroy them.

You ate the finest flour, honey, and olive oil. You became extremely beautiful and attained the position of royalty.Your fame spread among the nations because of your beauty; your beauty was perfect because of the splendor which I bestowed on you, declares the sovereign LORD.“‘ But you trusted in your beauty and capitalized on your fame by becoming a prostitute. You offered your sexual favors to every man who passed by so that your beauty became his.
