For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land with streams, springs, and deep water sources, flowing in both valleys and hills;

爾之上帝耶和華、導爾入腴壤、水泉溪河、深淵皆出自陵谷、

主爾之天主導爾入美地、無論平原山地、皆有水流湧出、有泉有河有湖、

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land— a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;

The Lord your God is bringing you into a good land. It has brooks, streams and deep springs of water. Those springs flow in its valleys and hills.

and so that you may live long in the land the LORD swore to your ancestors to give them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.For the land you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated by hand as in a vegetable garden.But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.It is a land the LORD your God cares for. He is always watching over it from the beginning to the end of the year.

On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

You visit the earth and water it abundantly, enriching it greatly. God’s stream is filled with water, for you prepare the earth in this way, providing people with grain.You soften it with showers and bless its growth, soaking its furrows and leveling its ridges.You crown the year with your goodness; your carts overflow with plenty.The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy.The pastures are clothed with flocks and the valleys covered with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.

So their descendants went in and possessed the land: You subdued the Canaanites who inhabited the land before them and handed their kings and the surrounding peoples over to them, to do as they pleased with them.They captured fortified cities and fertile land and took possession of well-supplied houses, cisterns cut out of rock, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. They ate, were filled, became prosperous, and delighted in your great goodness.
