Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God.

Dreaming too much and talking too much are meaningless. So have respect for God.

For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity; but God is the one you must fear.

Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. Fear God instead.

我知道神所做的都必存到永远；无所增添，无所减少。神这样做，是要人在他面前存敬畏的心。

事务多，令人做梦；话语多，显出愚昧。

罪人虽然作恶百次，倒享长寿；然而我也知道，福乐必临到敬畏神的人，就是在他面前心存敬畏的人。

你们当中有谁是敬畏耶和华，听从他仆人的话语，却行在黑暗中，没有亮光的，当倚靠耶和华的名，仰赖自己的神。看哪，你们当中所有点火、以火把围绕自己的人，当行走在你们的火焰里，并你们所点的火把中。这是我亲手为你们定的：你们必躺卧在悲惨之中。
