爾見國中貧者受虐、或見審鞫時顛倒是非、勿因此驚疑、蓋人居高位、有較彼位高者鑒察之、鑒察之或作治理之其上又有至高者、

Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God.

Dreaming too much and talking too much are meaningless. So have respect for God.

For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity; but God is the one you must fear.

Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. Fear God instead.

For many dreams bring futility; so do many words. Therefore, fear God.

For in many dreams and in many words there is futility. Rather, fear God.

For in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity. But fear God.

這些事都已聽見了，結論就是：敬畏神，謹守他的誡命，這是人當盡的本分。

你持守這個，那個也不要鬆手才好。敬畏神的人，這一切都能兼得。

我告訴你們，凡是人所說的閒話，在審判的日子，要句句供出來；

我知道神所做的都必存到永遠；無所增添，無所減少。神這樣做，是要人在他面前存敬畏的心。

你的心不要羨慕罪人，卻要羨慕常常敬畏耶和華的人，

事務多，令人做夢；話語多，顯出愚昧。

罪人雖然作惡百次，倒享長壽；然而我也知道，福樂必臨到敬畏神的人，就是在他面前心存敬畏的人。

你們當中有誰是敬畏耶和華，聽從他僕人的話語，卻行在黑暗中，沒有亮光的，當倚靠耶和華的名，仰賴自己的神。看哪，你們當中所有點火、以火把圍繞自己的人，當行走在你們的火焰裏，並你們所點的火把中。這是我親手為你們定的：你們必躺臥在悲慘之中。
