Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

王的话本有权力，谁敢问他说“你做什么”呢？

王的话本有权力，谁能对他说：“你在做什么？”

王的话本有权力，谁能对他说：“你在做什么？”

况且，王的命令至高无上，谁敢质问他呢？

既然王的话有权柄，谁敢问他：“你在作什么？”

要知道，王的话语有权柄；谁能对他说：“你在做什么呢？”

王的話本有權力，誰敢問他說「你做甚麼」呢？

王的話本有權力，誰能對他說：「你在做甚麼？」

王的話本有權力，誰能對他說：「你在做甚麼？」

況且，王的命令至高無上，誰敢質問他呢？

要知道，王的話語有權柄；誰能對他說：「你在做什麼呢？」

王言有權、孰能語之曰、爾何為哉、

王之命莫能禦、王所為、孰敢詰。

王之命有權、孰能詰之曰、爾所為何事、

Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

The king has the final word. So who can ask him,“ What are you doing?”

For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it.

For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Since the word of the king is authoritative, who will say to him,“ What are you doing?”

For the king’s word hath power; and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Where the word of a king[ is, there is] power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

Surely the king’s authority is absolute; no one can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

for the king’s word is supreme. Who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him,‘ What are You doing?’

All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him,“ What have You done?”

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

Is it fitting to say to a king,‘ You are worthless,’ And to nobles,‘ You are wicked’?Yet He is not partial to princes, Nor does He regard the rich more than the poor; For they are all the work of His hands.

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it,“ Why have you made me like this?”

The wrath of a king is like the roaring of a lion; Whoever provokes him to anger sins against his own life.

The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, But his favor is like dew on the grass.

“ And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”

So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he went out and struck him down, and he died. Thus the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

And King Solomon was told,“ Joab has fled to the tabernacle of the Lord; there he is, by the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying,“ Go, strike him down.”So Benaiah went to the tabernacle of the Lord, and said to him,“ Thus says the king,‘ Come out!’” And he said,“ No, but I will die here.” And Benaiah brought back word to the king, saying,“ Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.”Then the king said to him,“ Do as he has said, and strike him down and bury him, that you may take away from me and from the house of my father the innocent blood which Joab shed.So the Lord will return his blood on his head, because he struck down two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword— Abner the son of Ner, the commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, the commander of the army of Judah— though my father David did not know it.Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his descendants forever. But upon David and his descendants, upon his house and his throne, there shall be peace forever from the Lord.”So Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and struck and killed him; and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.

“ Look, in this you are not righteous. I will answer you, For God is greater than man.Why do you contend with Him? For He does not give an accounting of any of His words.

So King Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he struck him down, and he died.
