每个人的命运都是一样的：义人与恶人，好人与坏人，洁净的与不洁净的，献祭的与不献祭的都有一样的命运。好人怎样，罪人也怎样；起誓的怎样，怕起誓的也怎样。

凡临到众人的事都是一样：义人和恶人都遭遇一样的事；好人，洁净人和不洁净人，献祭的与不献祭的，也是一样。好人如何，罪人也如何；起誓的如何，怕起誓的也如何。

萬民所遭、初無或異、義不義、潔不潔、祭不祭、善不善、妄誓不妄誓者、億兆亦同此賦畀。

眾人所遇之事、皆同然無異、義人、惡人、善人、潔者、不潔者、獻祭者、不獻祭者、行善者、作惡者、發誓者、忌發誓者、所遇惟一、

All share a common destiny— the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good, so with the sinful; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.

Everyone will die someday. Death comes to godly and sinful people alike. It comes to good and bad people alike. It comes to“ clean” and“ unclean” people alike. Those who offer sacrifices and those who don’t offer them also die. A good person dies, and so does a sinner. Those who make promises die. So do those who are afraid to make them.

It is the same for all, since the same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil, to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As the good one is, so is the sinner, and he who swears is as he who shuns an oath.

The same destiny ultimately awaits everyone, whether righteous or wicked, good or bad, ceremonially clean or unclean, religious or irreligious. Good people receive the same treatment as sinners, and people who make promises to God are treated like people who don’t.

那时，你们必再次看出义人与恶人、服事神的人与不服事神的人的区别。”

智慧人看得见他的道路，愚昧人却在黑暗中行走。不过我也明白，同样的命运会临到他们这两种人。于是我心里说：“既然愚昧人的命运也照样会临到我，那么我为什么要更有智慧呢？”我心里就说：“这也是虚空！”因为智慧人与愚昧人一样，不会被永远记念；在将要来的日子，一切都会被忘掉。为什么智慧人像愚昧人一样会死亡呢？

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们施行审判；我要快快作证控告那些行巫术的、通奸的、起假誓的、在工酬上欺压雇工的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的，以及不敬畏我的！

因为我看到恶人享平安时，就嫉妒那些狂傲的人。

你抓住这个是好的，也不要放手那个；因为敬畏神的人，能兼顾这两者。

即使罪人作恶百次仍享长寿，然而我知道，敬畏神的人日子美好，因他们在神面前心存敬畏；恶人却没有好日子，他的日子像影子那样，不能长久，因他在神面前没有敬畏之心。有一件虚空的事发生在地上：临到义人的是照着恶人所行的，临到恶人的是照着义人所行的。我说：“这也是虚空！”

原来神把智慧、知识和喜乐赐给他所喜悦的人；至于罪人，神加给他们担子，让他们去收取、积聚，好给神所喜悦的人。这也是虚空，也是捕风！

前往哀悼之家好过前往宴乐之家，因为死亡是所有人的终局，活着的人必将这事放在心上。

我要你指着耶和华——天和地的神起誓，不可从我所住的迦南，为我的儿子娶他们的女儿为妻；

就算那人活了两个千年，却没有享受好处，又怎样呢？难道所有人不都同归一处吗？

所以我们就称傲慢的人有福；作恶的人不仅得以兴旺，他们试验神也得以逃脱。’”

如果那女子不愿意随着你来，我让你起的这誓就与你无关了，只是你不可把我的儿子带回那里。”于是那仆人就把手放在他主人亚伯拉罕的大腿底下，为这事向他起誓。

当军兵进入森林，看哪，有蜂蜜流淌，但没有人用手取蜜放入嘴里，因为他们害怕所起的誓。
