萬民所遭、初無或異、義不義、潔不潔、祭不祭、善不善、妄誓不妄誓者、億兆亦同此賦畀。

眾人所遇之事、皆同然無異、義人、惡人、善人、潔者、不潔者、獻祭者、不獻祭者、行善者、作惡者、發誓者、忌發誓者、所遇惟一、

All share a common destiny— the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good, so with the sinful; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.

Everyone will die someday. Death comes to godly and sinful people alike. It comes to good and bad people alike. It comes to“ clean” and“ unclean” people alike. Those who offer sacrifices and those who don’t offer them also die. A good person dies, and so does a sinner. Those who make promises die. So do those who are afraid to make them.

It is the same for all, since the same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil, to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As the good one is, so is the sinner, and he who swears is as he who shuns an oath.

The same destiny ultimately awaits everyone, whether righteous or wicked, good or bad, ceremonially clean or unclean, religious or irreligious. Good people receive the same treatment as sinners, and people who make promises to God are treated like people who don’t.

那时你们必再一次看出义人和恶人，事奉上帝和不事奉上帝的人有何差别。”

智慧人的眼目光明，愚昧人却在黑暗里行。但我知道他们都有相同的遭遇。我心里就说：“愚昧人所遇见的，我也一样遇见，那么我何必更有智慧呢？”我心里说：“这也是虚空。”智慧人和愚昧人一样，不会长久被人记念，因为日后都被遗忘。可叹！智慧人和愚昧人都一样会死亡。

所以我说，都是一样；完全人和恶人，他都灭绝。

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们，施行审判。我必速速作见证，警戒那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、剥削雇工工钱的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。”

因为我嫉妒狂傲的人，我看见恶人享平安。

二人对她说：“你叫我们所起的誓与我们无关，除非，看哪，当我们来到这地的时候，你把这条朱红线绳子系在缒我们下去的窗户上，并要叫你的父母、兄弟和你父的全家都聚集在你家中。凡离开你家门往街上去的，他的血必归到自己头上，与我们无关；凡在你家里的，若有人下手害他，他的血就归到我们头上。你若泄漏我们这件事，你叫我们所起的誓就与我们无关了。”

你持守这个，那个也不要松手才好。敬畏上帝的人，这一切都能兼得。

罪人虽然作恶百次，倒享长寿；然而我也知道，福乐必临到敬畏上帝的人，就是在他面前心存敬畏的人。恶人却不得福乐，他的日子好像影儿不得长久，因为他不敬畏上帝。世上有一件虚空的事，就是义人所遭遇的，反而照恶人所做的；恶人所遭遇的，反而照义人所做的。我说，这也是虚空。

上帝喜爱谁，就给谁智慧、知识和喜乐；惟有罪人，上帝使他劳苦，将他所储藏、所堆积的归给上帝所喜爱的人。这也是虚空，也是捕风。

往丧家去，强如往宴乐的家，因为死是众人的结局，活人必将这事放在心上。

他对我说：“这就是向全地面发出的诅咒。凡偷窃的必按书卷这面的话除灭，凡起假誓的必按书卷那面的话除灭。万军之耶和华说：我要把这书卷送出去，进入偷窃者的家和指着我名起假誓者的家，停留在他家里，连房屋带木头和石头都毁灭了。”

恶人为何存活，得享高寿，势力强盛呢？他们的后裔与他们一起，坚立在他们面前，他们得以眼见自己的子孙。他们的家宅平安无惧，上帝的杖不加在他们身上。他们的公牛传种而不断绝，母牛生牛犊而不掉胎。他们打发小男孩出去，多如羊群，他们的孩子踊跃跳舞。他们随着琴鼓歌唱，因箫声欢喜。他们度日诸事亨通，在平安中下到阴间。他们对上帝说：‘离开我们吧！我们不想知道你的道路。全能者是谁，我们何必事奉他呢？求告他有什么益处呢？’看哪，他们亨通不是靠自己的手；恶人的计谋离我好远。“恶人的灯何尝熄灭？患难何尝临到他们呢？上帝何尝发怒，把灾祸分给他们呢？他们何尝像风前的碎秸，如暴风刮去的糠秕呢？上帝为恶人的儿女积蓄罪孽，不如本人遭报，好使他亲自知道。愿他亲眼看见自己败亡，亲自饮全能者的愤怒。他的岁月既尽，他身后还顾他的家吗？谁能将知识教导上帝呢？是他审判那些居高位的。有人至死身体强壮，尽得平顺安逸；他的肚腹充满奶汁，他的骨髓滋润。有人至死心中痛苦，从未尝过福乐的滋味；他们同样躺卧于尘土，虫子覆盖他们。“看哪，我知道你们的意念，并残害我的计谋。你们说：‘权贵的房屋在哪里？恶人住过的帐棚在哪里？’你们没有询问那些过路的人吗？你们不承认他们的证据吗？就是恶人在患难的日子得存留，在愤怒的日子得逃脱。他所行的，有谁当面给他说明？他所做的，有谁报应他呢？然而他要被抬到坟地，并有人看守墓穴。他要以谷中的土块为甘甜；人人要跟在他后面，在他前面去的无数。你们怎能以空话安慰我呢？你们的对答全都错谬！”

他轻看誓言，背弃盟约，看哪，虽已投降，却又做这一切的事，他必不能逃脱。所以主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他头上。

我要叫你指着耶和华—天和地的上帝起誓，不要为我儿子娶我所居住的迦南地的女子为妻。

那人虽然活千年，再活千年，却不能享福；众人岂不都归同一个地方去吗？

现在，我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得以建立；他们虽然试探上帝，却得以逃脱。”

倘若那女子不肯跟你来，我叫你起的誓就与你无关了，只是你不可带我的儿子回到那里去。”仆人就把手放在他主人亚伯拉罕的大腿底下，为这事向他起誓。

百姓进了树林，看哪，有蜜流出来，却没有人敢用手取蜜入口，因为百姓怕那誓言。
