人心比万物都诡诈，无法医治；谁能识透呢？

对恶行已判定的刑罚迟迟没有执行，世人的心就充满行恶的意图。

我又专心究察智慧和知识，狂妄和愚昧，才知道这也是捕风。

这些人充满了各样的不义、邪恶、贪心、阴险；满怀嫉妒、凶杀、好斗、欺诈、幸灾乐祸；又是好说谗言的、毁谤人的、憎恨神的、凌辱人的、傲慢的、自夸的、制造恶事的、忤逆父母的、冥顽不灵的、不守信用的、冷酷无情的、没有恻隐之心的。

我们从前也是无知、不顺服、受了迷惑、被各种私欲和逸乐所奴役，生活在恶毒和嫉妒之中，是可憎可恶的，并且互相仇视。

尘土要归回原来之地，灵要归回赐灵的神。

他曾经因着自己的过犯受了责备：不能说话的驴，竟用人的声音说出话来，制止了这先知的狂妄。

何况那可憎又腐败，喝罪孽如同喝水的世人呢？

保罗申诉到这里，非斯都大声说：“保罗！你疯了；你的学问太大，使你疯了！”

他醒悟过来，说：‘我父亲有那么多雇工，又有丰富的食物，我却要在这里饿死吗？

他们却大怒，彼此商议怎样对付耶稣。

恶人必因自己所行的恶事被推倒，义人死的时候仍有所倚靠。

我转念，一心去了解、考察并寻觅智慧和事理，又要知道愚蒙是邪恶的，狂妄是愚昧的。

看哪，我是在罪孽里生的；我母亲在罪中怀了我。

众人的命运都是一样的：义人与恶人、好人与坏人、洁净的与不洁净的、献祭的与不献祭的，所遭遇的都是一样的；好人怎样，罪人也怎样；起誓的怎样，怕起誓的也怎样。

因为从心里出来的，有恶念、凶杀、奸淫、淫乱、偷盗、假见证和毁谤。这些才会使人污秽，不洗手吃饭却不会这样。”

因为从里面，就是从人的心里，发出恶念、淫乱、偷盗、凶杀、奸淫、贪心、邪恶、诡诈、放荡、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、愚妄；这一切恶事，是从人里面出来的，都能使人污秽。”

他不归荣耀给神，所以主的使者立刻击打他，他被虫咬，就断了气。

耶和华闻了那馨香的气味，就心里说：“我必不再因人的缘故咒诅这地（因为人从小时开始心中所想的都是邪恶的）；我也必不再照着我作过的，击杀各样的活物。

我在各会堂里多次用刑强迫他们说亵渎的话；我非常愤恨他们，甚至追到国外的城巿去迫害他们。

耶和华看见人在地上的罪恶很大，终日心里思念的，尽都是邪恶的。
