I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

I pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the glorious Father. I keep asking him to give you the wisdom and understanding that come from the Holy Spirit. I want you to know God better.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord— (niv)

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. (niv)

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, (niv)

then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (niv)

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (niv)

may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,and to know this love that surpasses knowledge— that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (niv)

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (niv)

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (niv)

“ All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. (niv)

“ Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” (niv)

these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. (niv)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (niv)

which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. (niv)

Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (niv)

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (niv)

I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart. (niv)

But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke. (niv)

Jesus replied,“ If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. (niv)

Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory. (niv)

To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, (niv)

For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. (niv)

They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. (niv)

saying:“ Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” (niv)

My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. (niv)

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— (niv)

but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these:“ As Your Majesty was lying there, your mind turned to things to come, and the revealer of mysteries showed you what is going to happen.As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind. but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord. (niv)

So Pharaoh asked them,“ Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?”Then Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. (niv)

Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction? (niv)

None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (niv)

There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners. (niv)

Jesus replied,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. (niv)

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel( who was called Belteshazzar). Its message was true and it concerned a great war. The understanding of the message came to him in a vision. (niv)

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (niv)

Has a nation ever changed its gods?( Yet they are not gods at all.) But my people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols. (niv)

the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. (niv)

No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another,‘ Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord.“ For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” (niv)

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. (niv)

“ Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” (niv)

for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” (niv)

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (niv)

To this he replied:“ Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Harran. (niv)

We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.Whoever says,“ I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. (niv)

so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (niv)

Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, (niv)

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (niv)
