Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.

Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,

I am by far the least important of all the Lord’s holy people. But he gave me the grace to preach to the Gentiles about the unlimited riches that Christ gives.

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of Christ,

To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God’s church.

even though I used to blaspheme the name of Christ. In my insolence, I persecuted his people. But God had mercy on me because I did it in ignorance and unbelief.

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

And I have been chosen as a preacher and apostle to teach the Gentiles this message about faith and truth. I’m not exaggerating— just telling the truth.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!We are here for only a moment, visitors and strangers in the land as our ancestors were before us. Our days on earth are like a passing shadow, gone so soon without a trace.

So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,“ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

And God chose me to be a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of this Good News.

to reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being.

I want you to know how much I have agonized for you and for the church at Laodicea, and for many other believers who have never met me personally.I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself.In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

So I advise you to buy gold from me— gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for“ God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”— and I am the worst of them all.

From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.

God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.

Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed,“ Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?

But the Lord said,“ Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.

I am too stupid to be human, and I lack common sense.I have not mastered human wisdom, nor do I know the Holy One.

For the same God who worked through Peter as the apostle to the Jews also worked through me as the apostle to the Gentiles.

Even so, I have been bold enough to write about some of these points, knowing that all you need is this reminder. For by God’s grace,I am a special messenger from Christ Jesus to you Gentiles. I bring you the Good News so that I might present you as an acceptable offering to God, made holy by the Holy Spirit.So I have reason to be enthusiastic about all Christ Jesus has done through me in my service to God.
