惟上帝能堅爾眾、依我福音、及所宣之耶穌基督、並依所啟之奧秘、即自永古存於靜默者、今依永有上帝之命、藉諸先知之書昭著、以示萬國、致因信而服、

曰、加利利人乎、胡為立而仰天耶、此耶穌別爾、見接昇天、爾見其如何昇天、亦將如何下臨也、○

士卒相語曰、勿裂之、鬮觀誰得、以應經所云、彼分我衣、而鬮我服、斯事士卒果行之、

但上帝藉諸先知之口、預指基督將受之苦、於是而驗、

夫今之所言、其首要者、即我儕有如是之大祭司、坐於皇皇在天者之右、

大哉敬虔之奧、無不以為然也、彼顯於形軀、徵於心靈、見於天使、宣於列邦、信於天下、躋於光榮焉、

謂之曰、此乃我素偕爾時、所語爾者、云、凡摩西律、先知書、及詩篇所載指我者、悉必應也、

既為上帝右手所舉、且受父所許之聖神、遂以注此、即爾所見所聞者也、

斯事悉成、以應經言、其骨無一見折也、

且知基督莫測之愛、得乎上帝所充者而充焉、○

耶穌知諸事既成、致驗經言、乃曰、我渴矣、

何西阿書載上帝言云、我將稱非我民者為我民、非蒙愛者為蒙愛、昔於某地語人曰、爾非我民、將於斯地稱為維生上帝子、以賽亞指以色列呼曰、以色列眾子、其數雖如海沙、得救者其孑遺耳、蓋主將踐其言於世、且果決而成之、如以賽亞曾言、若萬軍之主、未遺餘種於我、則我儕已如所多瑪蛾摩拉矣、○然則將何言耶、異邦人未趨義而得義、即由信之義也、
