He makes the whole body grow and build itself up in love. Under the control of Christ, each part of the body does its work. It supports the other parts. In that way, the body is joined and held together.

to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ,

And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment,

My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one of them began.

For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him.

This is why we constantly thank God, because when you received the word of God that you heard from us, you welcomed it not as a human message, but as it truly is, the word of God, which also works effectively in you who believe.

Love is patient, love is kind. Instead, God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the less honorable,so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other.So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, leading, various kinds of tongues.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

We recall, in the presence of our God and Father, your work produced by faith, your labor motivated by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Since you have purified yourselves by your obedience to the truth, so that you show sincere brotherly love for each other, from a pure heart love one another constantly,

For you were called to be free, brothers and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that“ we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.
