From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

He makes the whole body grow and build itself up in love. Under the control of Christ, each part of the body does its work. It supports the other parts. In that way, the body is joined and held together.

from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, and above all that you may prophesy.

I want their hearts to be encouraged and joined together in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery— Christ.

About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.In fact, you are doing this toward all the brothers in the entire region of Macedonia. But we encourage you, brothers, to do so even more,

for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ,

And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment,

My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.

For He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love

And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone, just as we also do for you.

Did You not pour me out like milk and curdle me like cheese?You clothed me with skin and flesh, and wove me together with bones and tendons.

But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head— Christ.

Now the goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.

and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love,

This is why we constantly thank God, because when you received the message about God that you heard from us, you welcomed it not as a human message, but as it truly is, the message of God, which also works effectively in you believers.

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited,does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs.Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth.It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for languages, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

I was made a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the working of His power.

For as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body— so also is Christ.For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free— and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.So the body is not one part but many.If the foot should say,“ Because I’m not a hand, I don’t belong to the body,” in spite of this it still belongs to the body.And if the ear should say,“ Because I’m not an eye, I don’t belong to the body,” in spite of this it still belongs to the body.If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?But now God has placed each one of the parts in one body just as He wanted.And if they were all the same part, where would the body be?Now there are many parts, yet one body.So the eye cannot say to the hand,“ I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet,“ I don’t need you!”But even more, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are necessary.And those parts of the body that we think to be less honorable, we clothe these with greater honor, and our unpresentable parts have a better presentation.But our presentable parts have no need of clothing. Instead, God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the less honorable,so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other.So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

We recall, in the presence of our God and Father, your work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ,

By obedience to the truth, having purified yourselves for sincere love of the brothers, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.

About food offered to idols: We know that“ we all have knowledge.” Knowledge inflates with pride, but love builds up.

We must always thank God for you, brothers. This is right, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.
