兄弟乎、我以我主耶穌基督之名命爾、凡兄弟妄行、不依所受我儕之傳者、則遠之、爾自知當如何效我、蓋我未嘗妄行於爾中、亦未嘗素餐於人、乃以勞以苦、晝夜操作、免累爾中一人、

妄得之財必耗、勤勞所積必增、

蓋人而樂為則見納、依所有、非依所無、

我所不明、請爾示我、若曾行惡、不復為之、

乃此二手嘗供我、及偕我者之需、爾所知也、我凡事垂範示爾、當如是勤勞、以扶助柔弱者、且憶主耶穌之言、予者較受者、更有福也、○

虜人而鬻之、或留於其手者、殺無赦、○

竊盜、貪婪、沉湎、詬詈、苛索者、皆不得承上帝國也、爾中素有如是者、惟以主耶穌基督名、及我上帝之神、已洗滌成聖而見義焉、○

供應聖徒、厚待賓旅、

恐我飽飫、而不識爾、謂耶和華為誰、或貧乏而行竊、褻瀆我上帝之名、○

此言非顧貧、乃因其為竊、且職橐而取所貯耳、

彼曰、此乃呪詛、遍行斯土、凡盜竊者、必按卷此面之文而見絕、凡妄誓者、必按卷彼面之文而見絕、

蓋己過者、必不亨通、自承而改之者、必蒙矜恤、

或意因猶大職橐、使市席筵所需、抑使濟貧也、

凡百勤勞皆獲利、脣舌多言惟致貧、

撒該立而謂主曰、主歟、我以所有之半濟貧、若誣詐人者、則四倍償之、

即屢試於難中而甚樂、且極貧而益彰施濟之厚、

毋貪人之第宅、與其妻室、僕婢牛驢、及凡所有、○

蓋此供事之役、不第補聖徒之空乏、且因感謝之多、而得充裕也、由此役驗爾、以爾承順基督福音、博施於彼、且及於眾、歸榮上帝、亦以上帝在爾中之厚恩、戀慕乎爾、為爾祈禱、感謝上帝、以其恩賜言不能罄也、

攘竊殺戮、行淫妄誓、焚香於巴力、從事素所未識之他神、

故當結果、以副改悔、勿自謂我有亞伯拉罕為父也、我語汝、上帝能由此石、興起亞伯拉罕之子孫焉、

惟妄誓、失信、殺戮、偷盜、姦淫、殘暴是行、疊流人血、
