Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ,

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

“ Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name’s sake.

As many as seven times?”Jesus said to him,“ I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.“ Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him,‘ Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt.But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying,‘ Pay what you owe.’So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him,‘ Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt.When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all that had taken place.Then his master summoned him and said to him,‘ You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt.So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”

The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.

Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.

To the contrary,“ if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.”Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love;

What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.

The native people showed us unusual kindness, for they kindled a fire and welcomed us all, because it had begun to rain and was cold.

And Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ May he be blessed by the Lord, whose kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!” Naomi also said to her,“ The man is a close relative of ours, one of our redeemers.”

and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”

He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor.

so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.

because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high

The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity;

‘ Say to Joseph,“ Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.His brothers also came and fell down before him and said,“ Behold, we are your servants.”
