Now finally, all of you should be like-minded and sympathetic, should love believers, and be compassionate and humble,not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you can inherit a blessing.

“ For if you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well.But if you don’t forgive people, your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing.

Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children.

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.

If you forgive anyone, I do too. For what I have forgiven— if I have forgiven anything— it is for you in the presence of Christ.

But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil.

On the contrary, he went and threw him into prison until he could pay what was owed.When the other slaves saw what had taken place, they were deeply distressed and went and reported to their master everything that had happened.“ Then, after he had summoned him, his master said to him,‘ You wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you?’And his master got angry and handed him over to the jailers to be tortured until he could pay everything that was owed.So My heavenly Father will also do to you if each of you does not forgive his brother from his heart.”

The Lord is good to everyone; His compassion rests on all He has made.

See, we count as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

Light shines in the darkness for the upright. He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.Good will come to a man who lends generously and conducts his business fairly.

But If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink. For in so doing you will be heaping fiery coals on his head.Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.

godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,

What is desirable in a man is his fidelity; better to be a poor man than a liar.

The local people showed us extraordinary kindness, for they lit a fire and took us all in, since it was raining and cold.
