「你被人邀請赴婚宴的時候，不要坐在上座，恐怕有比你更尊貴的人也被邀請，

賜酒都用金器皿，而且器皿與器皿各不相同；御酒很豐富，顯出王的慷慨。

拉班就招聚了那地方所有的人，擺設宴席。

「天國好比一個君王，為自己的兒子預備婚宴。

你問一問你的僕人，他們就會告訴你。願我派去的這些僕人在你眼前蒙恩，因為我們是在喜慶的日子來的。請你隨手拿點什麼，賜給你的僕人們和你兒子大衛。』」

因為本月的這兩日，是猶太人擺脫他們的仇敵，從悲哀轉為喜樂、從哀慟轉為慶祝的日子；他們要守這兩日為宴席和喜樂的日子，彼此送食物，也送禮物給窮人。

隨後，那位天使對我說：「你當寫下：那些被邀請赴羔羊婚宴的人是蒙福的！」他又對我說：「這些都是神真實的話語。」

住在地上的人都因他們的死而歡喜、慶祝，並且要彼此送禮，因為這兩位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。
